LED display system based on conventional DMX512 standard has such problems as poor reliability, slow speed, short distance communication, which can not completely meet the increasing demands of the current market. We put forward an integrated communication method that LED system combines CAN bus with DMX512 standard. This proposed method merges above two communication modes, makes full use of each advantage and improves systempsilas reliability, communication speed and distance. The improved method is applied to landscape lighting in Shanghai Global Financial Center (the highest building in the world), which can realize a new LED system with long distance, high speed, fully dependable communication and create special lamps according to the building design. The new system has already been used in this highest building and achieved enormous potential ability of the market.","PeriodicalId":175885,"journal":{"name":"2008 International Conference on Audio, Language and Image Processing","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-07-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123760934","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The key point lies in the fact that centroid of each audio frame will not be changed much in order to maintain high auditory quality. Each audio segment carrying the centroid of one audio frame is performed with DCT. Then the direct-current component of each audio segment is embedded scrambled watermark bit by quantization method. The extraction process of the robust watermark doesnpsilat need original audio signal. Experimental results show good transparency and high robustness against various common audio signal processing attacks of this scheme, and the stable essence of audio centroid under these various attacks.","PeriodicalId":175885,"journal":{"name":"2008 International Conference on Audio, Language and Image Processing","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-07-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124215721","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Automatic 3D building reconstruction is vital for automatic 3D digital city reconstruction, for city mainly consists of buildings. Serial computing based automatic 3D building reconstruction from stereo-pair images and from single image studied recently still is too slow for synchronously updating 3D digital city. So we propose HRS (HPC-based automatic 3D building reconstruction system) to make use of HPC (high performance computing) to speed up automatic 3D building reconstruction.","PeriodicalId":175885,"journal":{"name":"2008 International Conference on Audio, Language and Image Processing","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-07-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114583881","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Each syllable is recorded once only and used to synthesize syllable signals with diverse prosodic characteristics without suffering significant signal-quality degradation. For a control point on the synthetic syllable's time axis, two corresponding analysis frames' HNM parameters are interpolated to derive the HNM parameters for the control point. Furthermore, for pitch-contour tuning, another timbre-reserving interpolation is performed for the HNM parameters on a control point. Then, signal samples are synthesized with the HNM synthesis equations rewritten here. According to the result of the perception tests, the HNM based scheme proposed here can indeed be used to synthesize syllable signals with consistent timbre and high signal clarity.","PeriodicalId":175885,"journal":{"name":"2008 International Conference on Audio, Language and Image Processing","volume":"44 15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-07-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115873379","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With widely application of embedded system, measures must be taken to assure its quality and accelerate its development time. A static analysis test platform for embedded systems is constructed in this paper with two static analysis tools, PolySpace and Pclint. Since embedded software and ordinary software are not the same, these tools can be useful after complicated configuration. By comparing the differences between embedded software and ordinary software, a set of steps are introduced, which are concluded and verified by authorspsila practice in recent two years. Designed for instantaneous mixtures (two sources and two microphones), the proposed system identifies the noise contained in each noisy mixture. For that type of noise applies the most suitable ICA method among three methods (FastICA, Kernel ICA and JADE) and, after source separation, identifies the estimated speech signal. The signal mixtures are non-linear and the proposed system extracts information that can be used for further pre and/or post-processing. The experimental data shows that adaptive ICA allows better performance than applying a fixed ICA method for all hypothetic cases (an average ofldB SNR improvement). The process is completely automatic from the source recording to its output and such system has a wide range of applications.","PeriodicalId":175885,"journal":{"name":"2008 International Conference on Audio, Language and Image Processing","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-07-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122388332","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
