Compared to pure Ag3PO4, the GQDs/Ag3PO4 composites exhibited enhanced photocatalytic activities for degradation Rhodamine B (RhB) and 4-Chlorophenol (4-CP) under the visible-light irradiation. More interestingly, the stabilities of Ag3PO4 were also been improved after introducing GQDs. The possible reaction mechanism was proposed by discussing comprehensive characterizations, which indicated that the GQDs can work as electron acceptors to enhance separation efficiency of photogenerated electron-hole pairs. The structure-activity relationships have been studied in detail. The active species was determined and photocatalytic mechanism was proposed.","PeriodicalId":17291,"journal":{"name":"Journal of the Chinese Advanced Materials Society","volume":"135 1","pages":"255-269"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-04-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"77138572","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It would be interesting to see the effect of complete B-site substitution in LMCO with Fe transition metal on the structural, magnetic and dielectric behaviour. The X-ray diffraction, M-T curve and M-H hysteresis loops were studied to estimate parameters, namely crystallite size, transition temperature and ferromagnetic behaviour of sample. The dielectric response, Bode plots and Nyquest plots of samples were recorded for frequency range from 10 kHz to 1 MHz at temperature range 30–125 °C. It is interesting to study the dielectric relaxation and complex impedance behaviour of samples due to bulk and intrinsic effect contribution. The conductivity analysis show that the activation energy Ea value is nearby 100 meV, which suggests the presence of nearest neighbour hopping conduction mechanism of charge carriers in samples.","PeriodicalId":17291,"journal":{"name":"Journal of the Chinese Advanced Materials Society","volume":"64 1","pages":"207-221"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-03-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"84479939","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The method mainly includes the following steps: the preparation of cationic polystyrene spheres (CPSs), deposition of TiO2 precursor, and the pyrolysis of CPS in an N2 atmosphere at 450 °C (close system). The structure and morphology of C/N-TiO2 were characterized by using TEM, XRD, XPS, and UV-Vis spectroscopy. The results confirm that the carbon is coated on the surface of the photocatalysts, substantially enhancing the visible-light harvesting and accelerating the separation of the photo-generated electrons/holes. Interestingly, the formed C/TiO2 effectively narrows the bandgap of TiO2, manifesting excellent photocatalytic activities for degradation of MB and Rh B under visible-light irradiation than commercial P25. Therefore, our findings demonstrate that C/TiO2 is a more promising candidate as visible-light photocatalysts for potential applications.","PeriodicalId":17291,"journal":{"name":"Journal of the Chinese Advanced Materials Society","volume":"7 1","pages":"81-90"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-01-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"85223705","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
