Studies of the components properties of the protection glass and the immersion liquid have shown that the properties of the immersion liquid reduce the dose rate of neutron radiation significantly compared to the protection glass, which is used for the main protection against ionizing radiation when working with uranium-plutonium fuels. Mohammed, Oluwasola Oribayo, T Samuel Ikuejawa","doi":"10.17516/1999-494X-0281","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.17516/1999-494X-0281","url":null,"abstract":"Modeling and optimization of trans-esterification of palm kernel oil (PKO) to trimethylolpropone ester (TMP ester- a bio-lubricant) via palm kernel oil methyl ester (PKOME-a biodiesel) synthesis were investigated. The central composite design (CCD) component of the response surface methodology (RSM) was adopted for the optimization of the process parameters, where temperature and weight ratio of PKOME to TMP were held constant at 130 °C and 3.9 : 1 respectively, to generate 20 experimental runs. Bio-lubricant yield was calculated for each experimental run. A quadratic-like model was generated that related the yield to the process parameters (Reaction time, Stirring Speed, and Catalyst concentration). The predicted and actual R2 value were 0.9856 and 0.9959 respectively, which indicate an excellent agreement between experimental and predicted bio-lubricant yield. The predicted maximum bio-lubricant yield was 98.11 % at reaction time of 99.9084 mins, stirring speed of 863.794 rpm, and catalyst concentration 0.84522 wt. %. The experimental value obtained under same conditions was 96.996 %. Lenin was launched in February 1920, and in December of the same year at the VIII All-Russian Congress of Soviets of the RSFSR it was adopted. In this article, a direct participant in this process, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Honored Power Engineer of the Russian Federation V.M. Lebedev is a veteran of the power industry of the USSR and the Russian Federation. Shown are the separate stages of energy development in our country at different times in connection with this historical date – 100 years since the adoption of GOELRO. Personal observations were used during the period of his work in the USSR Ministry of Energy (38 years old) and in higher school (from 1995 to the present) in the training of future heat and power engineers. It was found that the concentration of the oxygen-bearing compounds decreased as a result of catalytic hydrotreating with hydrogen or with hydrogen donors. This resulted in improved dissolving power. However, best result in coal dissolution was achieved when heavy semicoking tar was blended with the anthracene oil. The products obtained represented at ambient temperature solid pitch-like matter with the softening points of 124 to 138 °С (“ring and ball” method). The main lithium batteries aging mechanisms under conditions of uneven load and reversible nature of energy exchange processes with short modes of recharging batteries during regenerative braking are determined. To assess the aging of the lithium battery, the WLTC driving cycle was taken as a basis, in accordance with which the load on the electric vehicle energy storage unit the was formed. A Nissan Leaf equipped with energy storage units (ESU) of different energy intensity was adopted as a test sample. Current diagrams were obtained for one battery cell, minimum, average and maximum currents, as well as durations of traction, braking and stopping modes in various control modes of electric rolling stock are given. An assumption is made about the growth of the energy intensity of the ESU in the future period and its influence on the load of the storage battery is determined. Diplexer channels are two-section filters, and matching circuit is regular non-resonant segment of a microstrip line placed between input resonators of channels. The common port is connected to outer end of the segment and its second end is opened. Research was carried out theoretically using a computer program developed on the basis of mathematical expressions obtained by means of one-dimensional models and quasi-static approximation.
