There is ambiguity of currently obtained data on the effectiveness of dual tasks in cognitive rehabilitation of elderly people, people with traumatic and neurodegenerative brain damage. It is assumed that the success of dual tasks is associated with the severity of transfer and interference effects. Opportunities and prospects of using dual tasks in cognitive rehabilitation of patients after cardiac surgery are outlined.","PeriodicalId":17054,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Software Maintenance and Evolution: Research and Practice","volume":"33 1","pages":"23-30"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88961867","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Research has shown that the fellow patient influences anxiety, pre- and post-operative stress, compliance, and negative feelings. A few studies have even shown that contact with other patients influences long-term satisfaction with the hospital, and self-rated health. These different factors influence each other via complex interactions. In this study, we analyze these complex interactions by building a theory-based model and testing the model using two empirical studies. The results provide relevant implications for further research and for hospital management.","PeriodicalId":17054,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Software Maintenance and Evolution: Research and Practice","volume":"20 1","pages":"237-254"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"85082534","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Material and methods. The results of treating patients with colorectal cancer and synchronous lung oligo-metastasis were analyzed. All patients underwent simultaneous surgical treatment. In the study group, perioperative support was carried out using the principles of accelerated rehabilitation; in retrospective check group patients were treated according to traditional methods. In postoperative period, perioperative parameters, number and severity of complications were assessed. Results. Within the study, no statistically significant differences were found in the groups, both in the duration of surgery and in the amount of blood loss. The largest number of complications in both groups are of I and II degrees and there were no static differences. However, faster recovery of gastrointestinal function, as well as shorter in-patient period was observed in the study group. Conclusion. The study showed the feasibility of simultaneous surgical treatment in this category of patients. Moreover the use of accelerated rehabilitation protocol can reduce the duration of postoperative in-patient period, as well as decrease of gastrointestinal tract function recovery time.","PeriodicalId":17054,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Software Maintenance and Evolution: Research and Practice","volume":"2 1","pages":"81-87"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"85299568","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In service-dominant logic, operant resources are the primary interest of actors’ economic exchange. However, the resources in service-dominant logic are rarely classified and analysed in detail. In addition, natural resources are widely neglected in conceptualizations of resources and resource integration. To fill these research gaps, this article aims to extend the existing conceptualizations of resource integration by specifically focussing on the integration of different types of resources. For this purpose, resource classifications from both the German-language literature, which is internationally mostly unknown, and the English-language research are included. Furthermore, natural resources are used as a case to discuss the peculiar role of pure public resources. Following calls for ‘oscillating foci’ to gain a better understanding of value co-creation, we further analyse resource integration at different levels of analysis by specifically focusing on the micro-level. Nevertheless, we emphasize the interdependencies between different levels of analysis. Therefore, we close important research gaps in the service-dominant logic literature, specifically regarding resource integration.","PeriodicalId":17054,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Software Maintenance and Evolution: Research and Practice","volume":"20 1","pages":"157-169"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"84801686","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper acknowledges the significant contribution Michael has made over the years. In particular, using Leximancer to undertake textmining of Michael’s English language publications, we not only uncover the underlying structure of these contributions but also explore if and how focal themes of his research have changed, particularly considering his close engagement with the Australasian academic marketing community. Findings indicate foundational facets and the overall gestalt of his research over time, yet also point to important differences across the time periods analysed. Finally, we reflect on our findings from a musical perspective, drawing on Michael’s passion for music, as we thank him for the many jams and the rehearsing, aswell as for his support for the bands and scenes he belongs to. For future research, it should be noted that future acknowledgements would benefit from cooking as a metaphor to complete the picture.","PeriodicalId":17054,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Software Maintenance and Evolution: Research and Practice","volume":"13 5 1","pages":"75-83"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89688198","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
