The Consumer Internet of Objects (CIoT) approach is adopted in this design. WiFi-based CIoT network has been designed to monitor energy consumption in smart homes. In the CIoT network, the current and voltage values have been measured with the current sensor SCT-013 CT 100A and 9 V AC/AC step-down transformer connected to the Arduino Nano development board. Real power, apparent power and power factor values have been calculated by using measured current, voltage values and phase angle. These measured and calculated values have been sent to the ESP8266 NodeMCU development board by Software Serial technique. The ESP8266 provides HTML based user interface to computers and mobile devices connected to the CIoT network via the TCP/IP protocol. An access point has been used the WiFi connection. The user interface is displayed via the web browser of the devices with TCP/IP protocol. Four buttons on the user interface control the four relays connected to the CIoT network. Experimental studies show that the designed system could be used in general purpose applications such as energy monitoring in smart home systems.","PeriodicalId":169791,"journal":{"name":"2019 3rd International Symposium on Multidisciplinary Studies and Innovative Technologies (ISMSIT)","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115385655","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Especially in iron and steel sector, quality levels of different types of products need to be monitored. The studies show that with the emphasis on the quality levels of iron and steel products, the product life span is prolonged, and price and sales superiority is provided in the products. Accordingly, the market value of the products increases and there is a minimum loss of product. The primary purpose of the enterprises that realize the importance of quality work and improvements is to support quality production by preventing or reducing defects in production. Therefore, scientific studies in this sector should be focused on. Data mining and techniques, which is one of the scientific methods in this sector, have been used effectively in institutional and large enterprises. Data mining makes a significant contribution to business managers and includes the processes of finding and modeling meaningful relationships among the meaningless large data stacks in the enterprise. At this point, it is possible to define data mining as a set of techniques and concepts that generate new information for decision-making processes. In this study, firstly the data mining process is defined, data mining studies applied to certain quality improvement problems in manufacturing sector are examined and the optimization of process and quality parameters from quality improvement problems is emphasized. In the application part, data mining techniques are used to determine the variables and levels that cause production defects in an industrial enterprise. To achieve this aim, K-Means algorithm, which is one of the multivariate statistical methods, was examined by clustering analysis and the results obtained were supported by discriminant analysis. As a result of the analyzes, the products produced by the industrial enterprise were classified according to the production defects.","PeriodicalId":169791,"journal":{"name":"2019 3rd International Symposium on Multidisciplinary Studies and Innovative Technologies (ISMSIT)","volume":"59 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116958859","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of tracking objects is segmenting a region of interest from a video scene and continuing tracking movement, positioning, and match. Detection of the object and classification are the steps preceding the object tracking in a sequence of images. Object detection is performed to control the existence of objects in the video and find that object, and then the detected object can be classified into many categories such as people, vehicles, floating trees, trees and other moving objects. In this paper is elaborated the autonomous tracking system with the aim of opposing movement in the event of a demonstration of human tracking, as such may enable the former to be distributed as it comprises more than one control center, key component parts of the system include:The camera and its 'interface, arduino viewing boards., PC - Controlled Center.","PeriodicalId":169791,"journal":{"name":"2019 3rd International Symposium on Multidisciplinary Studies and Innovative Technologies (ISMSIT)","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121341739","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Periodicity mining can be used in many application domains such as meteorology, astronomy, and econometrics. The techniques developed to find the periodicity are based on Fourier transform (FT), wavelet transform (WT), and dynamic time warping (DTW). Although the DTW performs well for periodicity analysis of time series, it is computationally complex. This study proposes two new algorithms which are formed by combining fast Fourier transform (FFT) with dynamic time warping (FFT-DTW) and wavelet transform with dynamic time warping (WT-DTW). The performances of the proposed algorithms were evaluated on real and synthetic datasets and the results are promising.","PeriodicalId":169791,"journal":{"name":"2019 3rd International Symposium on Multidisciplinary Studies and Innovative Technologies (ISMSIT)","volume":"58 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124903845","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This led to the development of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS). The most widely used is the GPS (Global Positioning System) technology. Signals emitted from GPS satellites. Calculates your own location by detecting GPS receivers on earth. The GPS data obtained in this study was sent to a remote server via GSM and GPRS and turned into a real-time tracking system. The location of the GPS device can be monitored instantly by observing the application map screen from devices such as computer and phone. This monitored location has a certain delay considering the factors such as the arrival time of the GPS data to the device and the time the device connects to the internet. The system operates with a delay of 4 - 5 seconds. In addition, the Geofence field is used to alert the device when it moves away from a specified location. As the Geofence area, a predetermined polygon on the map can be used or the polygon area drawn during the application can be used as Geofence. On the application screen, an audible warning is given when leaving the Geofence area. GPS does not always show the exact correct position; it has a certain margin of error. Many factors affect this margin of error. This causes the application to give false alarms and operate with the wrong location. In order to reduce this error, the error rate was tried to be reduced by using Kalman filter, logistic regression analysis and moving average filter. Normally the error margin of up to 15 meters is considerably reduced by these filters.","PeriodicalId":169791,"journal":{"name":"2019 3rd International Symposium on Multidisciplinary Studies and Innovative Technologies (ISMSIT)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114920681","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Four different models were used to estimate GSR using current data. Linear, quadratic and exponential relationships were preferred among the parameters for absolute and stable results of these models. The empirical coefficients a, b and c of the models were calculated to estimate the average solar radiation of the region. The correlations between the obtained values from models and the current meteorological values were found to be consistent. As a result, a stable and reasonable approach was obtained for the estimation of GSR coming to the horizontal plane for the region.","PeriodicalId":169791,"journal":{"name":"2019 3rd International Symposium on Multidisciplinary Studies and Innovative Technologies (ISMSIT)","volume":"249 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128557977","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
