Grinding of meat and bone raw materials is carried out in several stages using a power chopper and a microgrinder «Supermasscoloider». The processing scheme of meat and bone raw materials consisted in sequential grinding of meat and bone raw materials, preliminary freezing to a temperature of (-18) ºC - (- 20) ºC in freezers. During the grinding process, the influence of the amount of added water on the temperature and water-binding capacity of the meat and bone paste after grinding is investigated. From the results, it was revealed that the temperature of the meat and bone paste at the outlet of the microgrinder decreases from 16ºС to 9ºС, depending on the amount of added water. The addition of water leads to a decrease in the water-binding capacity of the meat and bone paste from 65.81 to 33.68%.","PeriodicalId":169640,"journal":{"name":"ALKHAS The Journal of Environment Agriculture and Biological Sciences","volume":"419 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122861608","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this experimental work, the effects of several alkaline activator solutions on the compressive, indirect tensile, and flexural strengths, water absorption, and acid resistance of bentonite-based Geopolymer Concrete (GPC) were investigated. A new sort of alkaline activator for GPC was also created. GPC specimens consisting of bentonite were created and cured at 90 degrees Celsius in this case. The results showed that the addition of NaOH to the mixture after 3 minutes of mixing KOH and Na2SiO3 with dry components (1/3 of the total mixing time) increases the compressive, tensile, and flexural strength and we also see that with this new method, water absorption capacity and the amount of weight loss of geopolymer concrete samples are reduced in acidic conditions.","PeriodicalId":169640,"journal":{"name":"ALKHAS The Journal of Environment Agriculture and Biological Sciences","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128050396","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The analgesic action of hispolon is due to the inhibition of prostaglandins biosynthesis. However, the molecular basis of this inhibition has not been explored yet. Therefore, we have carried out theoretical investigations to evaluate the molecular basis of analgesic action. Furthermore, we have conducted high throughput in silico screening of a library of compounds to get novel cyclooxygenase 2 (COX-2) inhibitors with better pharmacokinetic and analgesic properties. The docking study was conducted using PyRx and the drug-like properties were calculated by MarvinSketch. Furthermore, the pharmacokinetic properties were computed on the online server PreADMET. In this study, our virtual screening based on structure similarity search using hispolon as reference structure afforded 1,699 compounds. These compounds were subjected to molecular docking with COX-2. These were then filtered based on binding affinity, binding poses, and drug-like properties which yielded seven compounds. The in silico pharmacokinetic study revealed that these compounds possess good human intestinal absorption and moderate permeability. Moreover, molecular docking of these compounds revealed that all the ligands possess moderate to good binding affinity (−7.6 to −8.9 Kcal/mol). Our computed properties may assist in developing hispolon derivatives with better pharmacokinetic and COX-2 inhibitory activity.","PeriodicalId":169640,"journal":{"name":"ALKHAS The Journal of Environment Agriculture and Biological Sciences","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133149609","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to cure and prevent the progression of such malignancy, the use of sensitive and specific biomarker1 is essential to aid the detection of breast cancer at an early stage. Furthermore, it has to be precise enough to monitor progression of the disease, and could predict the individual patient’s response to treatment. Unfortunately, markers with such characteristics have not been introduced and implemented in clinical level. Recent Bioinformatics studies have revealed a broad spectrum of noncoding RNAs called lncRNAs that are involved in breast cancer. They have a role in cell growth, apoptosis2, cell migration and invasiveness as well as cancer cell stemness. Although, their exact mechanisms and potential to serve as a biomarkers are yet to be clarified, they could be utilized for diagnostic purposes and therapeutic targets. This review is to summarize the to date information about lncRNAs that are particularly involved in breast cancer and could possibly named as a biomarker in foreseeable future.","PeriodicalId":169640,"journal":{"name":"ALKHAS The Journal of Environment Agriculture and Biological Sciences","volume":"66 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127797715","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
