Dans sa partie nord baigne le delta du Bengale, plus vaste région deltaïque de la planète. Malgré des avancées récentes, la morphologie et l'hydrodynamique complexes de ce grand delta, combinées au coût numérique de la modélisation hydrodynamique, ont empêché la prévision des surcotes marines sur cette région très vulnérable. Nous présentons ici un système de prévision des surcotes cycloniques fondé sur la plateforme de modélisation Schism-WWM, qui est à la fois efficace numériquement, cohérente physiquement et utilisable en temps réel avec des ressources informatiques limitées. Ce système de modélisation a permis de simuler en temps quasi réel le cyclone Amphan en mai 2020.\u0000 The Bay of Bengal is a well-known birth region to some of the deadliest cyclones in history. In its northern part lies the largest deltaic region, the Bengal delta. Despite recent advancements, the complex morphology and hydrodynamics of this large delta and the associated modeling computational costs impede the storm surge forecasting in this highly vulnerable region. Here we present a proof of concept of a physically consistent and computationally efficient storm surge forecasting system tractable in real-time with limited resources. Ces composés peuvent subir dans cet environnement multiphasique de nombreuses transformations complexes induites par le rayonnement solaire, les processus microphysiques ou encore l'activité des micro-organismes vivants dans les nuages. Cet article présente de façon résumée les activités d'observation et de recherche sur les nuages menées sur le site atelier du puy de Dôme au cours des 20 dernières années. Il se focalise plus particulièrement sur les développements méthodologiques tant en termes de prélèvements que de caractérisations du milieu et des processus de transformation. Ce travail est le résultat de la création d'un consortium unique regroupant des physiciens, des biologistes et des chimistes oeuvrant à une question commune autour du rôle des nuages dans les processus atmosphériques.\u0000\u0000 Many chemical compounds coming from both the gaseous and particulate phases dissolve into cloud droplets. These compounds can undergo in this multiphasic environment many complex transformations induced by light, microphysical processes or even by the activity of microorganisms living in clouds. This article summarizes the observation and research activities on clouds sampled at the puy de Dôme site over the past 20 years. A particular focus is made to highlight methodological developments both in terms of sampling and characterization of the cloud medium and transformation processes occurring within it.
