Harvesting potatoes on heavy and rocky soil and under difficult climatic conditions negatively affects the performance of potato harvester. To increase the efficiency and productivity of the potato harvesters, a method is proposed for preparing fields by loosening and cleaning the soil from lumps and stones. To reduce such dependence, the subprogram of the FSTP is being implemented.
