Tingginya kebutuhan minyak sawit Indonesia mendorong pihak produsen untuk meningkatkan produksi industri minyak sawit seoptimal mungkin. Pengembangan industri minyak kelapa sawit ini menyerap banyak tenaga kerja, namun disisi lain menimbulkan limbah cair yang berbahaya bagi lingkungan. Tujuan dari praktek lapangan ini yakni untuk mengetahui menganalisis parameter BOD, COD, pH, TSS, N-Total pada limbah cair kelapa sawit (LCKS)  dari pabrik kelapa sawit (PKS) dan untuk mengetahui parameter BOD, COD, pH, TSS, N-Total pada limbah cair kelapa sawit sudah memenuhi syarat sesuai dengan Baku Mutu berdasarkan Keputusan Menteri Lingungan Hidup No 29 Tahun 2003 tentang Pedoman dan Tata Cara Perijinan Pemanfaatan Air Limbah Industri Minyak Sawit. Adapun hasil dari parameter yaitu kandungan dari BOD tidak memenuhi standarisasi karena lebih dari 100mg/l di dapat hasilnya mencapai 278 mg/l dan COD tidak memenuhi standarisasi karena lebih dari 350 mg/l dan didapatkan hasinya 620 mg/l. So far, cow dung in the petiyen village has only been cleaned and thrown away for nothing without further use. One alternative to overcome this problem is to utilize cow manure as organic fertilizer. In addition to the waste generated from cows in general the petiyen community also produces waste from its household activities. Of the 2 types of organic waste in the form of cow waste and household waste will be processed into organic fertilizer which will be applied to rice and corn plants that are widely grown by farmers in Petiyen Village, Solokuro Subdistrict, Lamongan Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of organic fertilizer on plant growth. This research method is experimental. The results showed that the average plant height was 13 cm for the use of organic fertilizer media only and 12 cm for mixed organic fertilizer and soil media, while for chemical fertilizer media could not grow. Kondisi tersebut semakin diperparah dengan adanya dampak pemanasan global yang mengakibatkan planet bumi terus mengalami peningkatan suhu. Mahalnya harga AC  dan beban daya listrik AC yang besar menyebabkan sebagian besar masyarakat Lamongan belum banyak yang menggunakan AC. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah membuat alat pendingin ruangan yang ramah lingkungan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan perancangan dan pembuatan produk ini digunakan model pengembangan prosedural yang bersifat deskriptif (Shodiq, 2005:32). Hasil dari penelitian bahwa alat pendingin ruang terbuka efektif dapat menurunkan suhu di sekitar pemasangan alat tersebut. Kualitas air yang baik akan memberikan dampak yang positif terhadap ikan yang dipelihara, sedangkan kualitas air yang buruk dapat menyebabkan pertumbuhan ikan tidak optimal dan memberikan dampak yang negatif terhadap ikan yang dipelihara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis parameter fisika dan kimia perairan di kawasan budidaya perikanan kabupaten majalengka. Parameter yang dianalisis yaitu suhu, pH, DO, fosfat, nitrat, dan BOD. Meatballs are processed food who are using meat as main ingredient and other ingredients, such tapioca flour, salt, pepper, and the other ingredients as food additives. Meatballs is the mostpopular because has tasty flavor, high protein content, especiallyessential amino acids.In Indonesia, until now there were still cases of counterfeiting of processed meat products. One of method is mixing the beef meat and other animalsmeat in the making process to reduce production costs, so that similar products can be obtained at a much lower cost. One common case is the mixing of beef meat with rat meat. This study aims to identify meatballs contaminated by rat meat. Meatball samples used do not have Halal certificate from LPPOM MUI. From the results of the study, obtained the green amplification curve with the highest peak showed positive control of rat DNA, followed by three other green curves from the sample that showed the occurrence of amplification, thus indicating samples positive containing rat DNA. In the positive sample, the rat DNA concentration in the sample is quite low which can be seen from the intensity of the peak produced on the amplification curve when compared with positive control. In pharmaceutical industry, gelatin used in manufacture of soft and hard capsule and a binding material of tablet medicine. Gelatin is product hydrolysis of collagen and a point source of it from cow and pig bone and cow, pig and fish skin. On 2002, as many as 41% gelatin produced from the pig skin. This is a reflection of the number of gelatin from pig in the word market as well very large so it was worried that create insecurity for the community especially muslims to consume medicine who uses gelatin as a binding material of tablet medicine. The purpose of this research is for isolate gelatin in tablet medicine that the active ingredient not a protein make a ferris methode and indentify the gelatin use reagent biuret.
