Based on virtual prototyping technology, the nonlinear dynamic analysis of rigid flexible hybrid rotor system is carried out. Then, combining process integration software and neural network technology, the nonlinear mapping relationship between structural dynamic response and basic random variables is obtained, and the stress-strength interference reliability model of rotor system is proposed. This paper devotes to addressing the problem of preparedness planning of interdependent infrastructure networks. The multi-state natures of network components are taken into account to characterize the interactions between infrastructure networks. A novel two-stage stochastic programming model which is able to cope with the uncertainty associated with disruptions is proposed to effectively enhance resilience under limited budget. The proposed model is applied to an illustrative network composed of interdependent power-water distribution networks, and the results show that (i) the overall resilience of interdependent power-water distribution networks is greatly enhanced under different types disruptive events. (ii) the proposed two-stage stochastic programming model is a general model framework that is applicable to a diversity of multi-state interdependent infrastructure networks.","PeriodicalId":166717,"journal":{"name":"2020 Global Reliability and Prognostics and Health Management (PHM-Shanghai)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121893073","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The product adapts to the predetermined environment and proves that have meet the reliability requirement, it is needed to confirm or evaluate through the reliability test. The highly accelerated life test (HALT) can quickly motivates design and process defects inside the product so that the design fault can be detected. Through this test, the fault corrective measures can be taken to improve the design, thereby making the product more robust. The HALT plays a vital role in improving the reliability of civil aircraft airborne equipment. This paper comprehensively analyzes and evaluates the application of HALT in airborne equipment from the aspects of HALT purpose, objects, procedures, data processing, fault handling measures, etc., based on the characteristics of civil aircraft, and provides suggestions on the selection of the test stress, the test process, etc.. The temperature change of the LIB system has a strong hysteresis. If the measured temperature is just used for feedback control, the temperature overshoot of the system is inevitable. In this paper, a temperature control strategy of the forced air-cooling system is proposed based on the principle of model predictive control (MPC) and particle swarm optimization (PSO) combining with the reduced order thermal model (ROTM). Furthermore, the simulation experiment was set up to study the performance of the above temperature control strategy. The simulation result shows that the temperature control strategy proposed in this paper can keep the LIB system in a suitable temperature range under New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) test conditions, and the temperature overshoot can be suppressed effectively comparing with the PID control strategy.","PeriodicalId":166717,"journal":{"name":"2020 Global Reliability and Prognostics and Health Management (PHM-Shanghai)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129188657","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In most of the existing RUL prediction methods, noise is always regarded as the disgusting disturbance and tried to remove from the observation data. In contrast, noise can be beneficial if properly used. This paper proposes a new RUL prediction method which is boosted by the injection of intentionally-added noise into a long short-term memory (LSTM) neural network. The intentionally-added noise satisfies the noisy-expectation maximization (EM) positivity condition, and boosts the RUL prediction results. Therefore, the proposed method is referred as a noise-boosted RUL prediction method. This paper is a preliminary attempt when predicting RUL for aero-engines by using intentionally-added noise. The popular C-MAPSS lifetime dataset for aero-engines is used to validate the effectiveness of the new method. The prediction results show the improvement of prediction accuracy by the injection of intentionally-added noise.","PeriodicalId":166717,"journal":{"name":"2020 Global Reliability and Prognostics and Health Management (PHM-Shanghai)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123627447","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

First, features of bearing fault data are selected based on integrated indicators to solve the overlapping problems of features from different bearing faults. Second, considering that multiple fault data of bearings in practical applications cannot be obtained at one time in a short time, the incremental learning model is established by creating high-dimensional spatial feature hyper-ellipsoids with the concept of SVDD. Finally, we conducted experiments by two laboratory data sets to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.","PeriodicalId":166717,"journal":{"name":"2020 Global Reliability and Prognostics and Health Management (PHM-Shanghai)","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121683663","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
