Plyushchay","doi":"10.21272/jnep.12(5).05028","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.21272/jnep.12(5).05028","url":null,"abstract":"The first-principle calculation of the interaction of an edge dislocation with transition metal impurities Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni and Cu in a supercell composed of 180 Si atoms is presented. The density functional theory in the general gradient approximation using the ABINIT software package has been used for numerical calculation. The interaction curves of edge dislocations with impurity atoms in silicon are obtained. The shape of the interaction curves corresponds to the Lennard-Jones potential. The equilibrium positions of impurity atoms in the vicinity of the edge dislocation cores are obtained. The binding energy of Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu impurity atoms with an edge dislocation in silicon is calculated and analyzed. The electronic structure of the supercell with a dipole of two edge dislocations with Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni and Cu impurities is presented. The general features of the electronic spectra for all impurity atoms are discussed. Due to the existing defective structure of the supercell, additional states appear in the band gap for all impurities, in particular, for Ni and Cu impurities, a sharp half-filled impurity peak is observed in the band gap. The intensity and fine structure of impurity peaks vary depending on the type of impurity and its position. Application of this method allows one to obtain deposited alloys in the entire concentration range of compositions. The as-deposited films show the formation of an amorphous solid state. The decomposition of an amorphous state is accompanied by precipitation of an intermediate meta-stable, nanocrystalline W-phase with FCC-structure. By applying magnetron sputtering, we have obtained an amorphous state in pure W-films at room temperature. The thermal stability, electrical and mechanical properties of metastable states in W-B films are studied. The study shows that the amorphous state in the WB 5 alloy is characterized by abnormally high temperature stability and microhardness. The ion-plasma sputtering method has demonstrated its effectiveness in the case of tungsten films, showing the possibility of obtaining metastable phases in them. The porous layer was obtained by electrochemical anodization at anodizing current from10 to 60 mA and anodizing time from 5 to 30 min. The sensors were created as p-Si structures: PdAu-Si:GeAuNiAu by electron-beam evaporation. The porous layer surface was studied with optical microscopy, and the crystallite structure was examined with FTIR technique. It has been discovered that the anodization modes have a direct effect on the deformation vibrations of the SiHx group in wavenumbers from 700 to 950 cm – 1. At the boundaries of the crystallites, compressing stresses arise causing a decrease in Si–O–Si bond in wavenumbers from 1060 to 1160 cm – 1. It has been demonstrated the increasing effect of SiHn stretching bonds and SiOxHy complexes (absorption peaks at 2116 cm – 1 and 2340 cm – 1 respectively). The variation of anodizing time has a stronger effect on the structure of the porous layer than the variation of anodizing current. The adsorption sensitivity of the porous layer has been determined by the relative change in conductivity. The data obtained make it possible to conclude that the anodization mode affects the adsorption of gas sensors. The Co-precipitation process is used to synthesize the ZnO NPs. The prepared nanocomposite polymer electrolytes were characterized by structural (XRD), morphological (SEM) and electrochemical (CV) studies. The spin-coating method is considered to be one of the most prominent due to the advantages of low cost and imperfection free uniform coating of resistant layers in the production of integrated circuits, surface coating and also acts as an intermediate insulator in different applications. The XRD analysis revealed the formation of nanostructures with (1 0 1) orientation in thin films which exhibits hexagonal Wartzite structure. All of the findings are correlated and discussed. The PEO/PVP/6 wt.% zinc oxide nanocomposite showed up to 500th cycles of reversible electrochemical response.
