Количество спутников, ведущих ежедневную съемку земной поверхности из космоса, уже давно перевалило за сотню, а архивы космических данных измеряются петабайтами. При увеличении числа спутниковых систем ДЗЗ значительно улучшается качество и особенно разрешающая способность съемочной аппаратуры, достигшая уже пространственного разрешения 0.3 метра. Сегодня не менее 10 космических платформ ведут съемку в субметровом разрешении. Но при всех современных технологических возможностях космической съемки существуют такие объекты и природные процессы, картографирование и мониторинг которых можно проводить только на основе данных сантиметрового разрешения при комбинации космических, воздушных и наземных методов дистанционного зондирования. Подобные сложные процедуры требуется заранее подготовить и отработать в безопасной среде. Например, подобные тренировки можно проводить с использованием технологий виртуальной реальности. В данной статье рассматривается опыт создания виртуального симулятора добычи ледяного керна на твердом небесном теле. Рассмотрен полный цикл разработки VR-приложения с учетом специфики использования контента в образовательных задачах.
