Reducing the carbon intensity of the supply chain is likely to progress significantly due to the amount of toxic gas by ground vehicles. This will create both opportunities and risks for logistics and transportation companies, particularly those that use the traditional routing model to plan their trips for product delivery. Various factors are associated with adopting green logistics for the e-commerce industry that provide home delivery for a whole country in the least amount of time. Companies must focus on managing these factors in road logistics while leaving a low carbon footprint by using dynamic vehicle routing and the Environmental Cost of Transportation.","PeriodicalId":164690,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Knowledge Economy (ICCIKE)","volume":"119 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125750106","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These interconnected devices create a network of intelligent systems that exchange data without the need for any computer or human communication. The devices gather data that is important to humans and businesses. Standard high-end security solutions are ineffective for safeguarding an IoT system because IoT devices have limited storage and processing capability. Due to the proliferation of innovative attacks, network security is finding it difficult to identify breaches with good accuracy. As a result, it becomes necessary to provide smart security solutions that are portable, widely dispersed, and provide long term services. The monitoring of network traffic by an intrusion detection system (IDS), which protects against prospective intrusions and preserves the network's confidentiality, integrity, and availability, is one solution. However, IDS still has difficulties detecting intrusions and improving detection accuracy while lowering false alarm rates. When dealing with heterogeneous data of varied sizes, Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) have already demonstrated their importance. Many modern IDS are ML based models. In this paper, ML and DL learning models like Random Forest (RF), Decision Tree (DT), K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), Support Vector Machine (SVM), XG Boost (XGB), Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP), Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU) and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) are used and compared. The best algorithm amongst these is compared with the existing state-of-art models. The dataset used is UNSW-NB 15 Train set and Test set. The metrics used for comparison are Accuracy (Ac), Recall (Rc), Precision (Pr), F1 score, Mean Squared Error (MSE), training time, prediction time and total time. RF performs better than all other algorithms with Train Ac of 95.98% and Test Ac of 97.69%. It also outperforms the existing state-of-art models achieving the highest accuracy.","PeriodicalId":164690,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Knowledge Economy (ICCIKE)","volume":"73 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124681906","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The current system often identifies infections too late, resulting in mass culling of flocks. The proposed solution is to use disease control through vaccination as an alternate approach. The proof of concept for this paper was implemented using the Raspberry Pi 4 along with Arduino UNOs, which was adapted to better suit the needs of the paper. The system was able to collect data from sensors measuring variables such as Ammonia, Carbon Dioxide, temperature, and humidity. The wellbeing of the chicken can be monitored through the environmental variables being sensed. Based on studies, deviations in these variables from the baseline can indicate the presence of disease. Some systems also listen to sounds to understand if illnesses are prevalent. The data will be passed through a series of conditions to determine the probability of infection within the farm. Experimental analyses through simulations were conducted with the mobile robot connected with sensors. Based on the significant deviation of sensor outputs from the benchmark values, the presence of disease in the livestock was detected in the early stages.","PeriodicalId":164690,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Knowledge Economy (ICCIKE)","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132375583","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This issue can be resolved by the fast-emerging machine learning concept of Networks. This research paper proposes a rather efficient and novel neural network model can make use of modern developments to create a reliable and accurate solution. Simultaneously, the designed model reduces training time and computational expense by addressing the issue of a large number of parameters. The designed neural network model trained on the PlantVillage dataset contains 11993 images with 11 different categories of classes. The model uses depth-wise separable convolutional layers, inception modules, and global average pooling to achieve the desired results. Based on the precision, recall, and Fl measure, the model scored 97.73% accuracy. The results demonstrate the model can be used effectively for recognizing disease in various plants.","PeriodicalId":164690,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Knowledge Economy (ICCIKE)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125607229","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Together with this surge in demand, the competitiveness and appeal of flight attendants is crucially related to their physical appearance and outward attractiveness which dependent on individual perception of body image, may have positive or negative effect on flight attendants’ mental health and well-being. However, majority of current literature focuses only on the effects of the job to flight attendants themselves and limited research is conducted on the possible effects of body image perception. The study follows a secondary research method based on existing and current literature to examine the effects of body image perception on flight attendants’ well-being and mental health. Results of the study shows that positive body image perception results to the generation of positive emotions, increased self-confidence and risk-taking behavior, encourages actions of self-compassion and increase in job motivation and social skills while negative perception of body image results to poor social skills, instigates harmful body behavior, promotes body disturbance thoughts and distorted body image. This study helps to bring awareness on the importance of body image perception to flight attendants’ mental health and well-being and therefore help mitigate negative effects in the future","PeriodicalId":164690,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Knowledge Economy (ICCIKE)","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121466920","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims to identify color in a two-dimensional image using the RGB color model and the color thresholding approach in MATLAB and to identify redness in the foot using plantar pressure analysis. The technique used for the detection of color in the image is to convert a two-dimensional RGB image into red, green and blue color from the original image, these are eliminated to form the binary image and then connect objects with fewer pixels resulting in a new binary image, then the image processing techniques are applied to smooth the border, fill in any holes in the region and finally mask to red object to mask out the red-only portion of the RGB image. The RGB values for every pixel in the image are also checked in order to identify the color of each pixel. MATLAB’s image processing toolbox is used to implement the approach.","PeriodicalId":164690,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Knowledge Economy (ICCIKE)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126583742","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This critical review examines external recorders’ use to facilitate high-quality captures and recordings during the video production workflow. The review discusses the benefits of using external recorders, including higher quality recordings, longer recording times, larger storage capacity, improved color accuracy, and improved monitoring. The ability to record uncompressed or lightly compressed video in higher-quality formats allows for more detail and fewer compression artifacts in the final product. However, the review also notes that external recorders can add to a production’s overall cost and complexity. External recorders often require additional cables, batteries, and mounting accessories, which can add to the weight and size of the camera rig. The review concludes that while external recorders provide several benefits regarding video quality and flexibility in post-production, the decision to use them should be made based on each production’s specific needs and budget. Previewing footage on a larger external monitor can also help filmmakers identify issues such as focus and exposure before recording.","PeriodicalId":164690,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Knowledge Economy (ICCIKE)","volume":"52-54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116772755","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is for those, who have a considerable amount of disposable income to spear, and are willing to pay higher prices for products in comparison to the average consumer market. According to existing data, it has been recorded that the luxury market accounts for the most consumer consumption in the fashion category, as many have the aspirational value of owning something that is high fashion. The purpose of this study is to comprehend the factors that have the potential to sustain online shopping. Survey method has been used to see the consumer behavior towards startup fashion brands. Although this had been the pattern for many years, there has been a considerable change in the consumer behavior towards luxury goods over the past year, due to the impact of COVID-19. This virus has not only impacted and harmed the livelihoods of the people, but has also affected the economy gravely. This resulted in many businesses being shut down as well as many employees being laid-off. Major business suffered for the few initial months as well. Amidst all of this, small business found it very hard to thrive, especially startups. The findings state that there is a shift from brick & mortar concept to digital platforms. This is shown with the percentage, Bar graphs and pie charts. They either shut down or tried to save their business by some means. Keeping in mind the changes that occurred in the consumer patterns towards fashion in the earlier stages of this pandemic and for startup fashion businesses to have opened up its doors, this paper discusses the opportunities gained and challenges faced by startup fashion brands during COVID-19. This research recommends to gather more into digital marketing, E-Commerce and M-Commerce, as they are the new platforms and the future of shopping.","PeriodicalId":164690,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Knowledge Economy (ICCIKE)","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131553256","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

If the primary user is not using it, it gives cognitive radios the ability to transmit on the licensed portions of the spectrum. But, when the primary user decides to reclaim the spectrum, the cognitive radio must give it up. A cognitive radio contributes to more effective radio spectrum use by utilizing the untapped area of the spectrum. Spectrum sensing is the procedure used to determine the spectrum's condition. This work focuses on spectrum sensing by cognitive radios in a 5G communication network. Different ML algorithms were used for spectrum sensing and their performance was evaluated under different channel conditions such as AWGN high accuracy rates of spectrum sensing were achieved. It was observed that the logistic regression algorithm outperforms other classification algorithms at different Signal-to-Noise ratio (SNR) values for different observation window lengths. This implies that the system is able to work under different signal conditions.","PeriodicalId":164690,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Knowledge Economy (ICCIKE)","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128789396","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
