The proposed design not only exhibits the functions of power dividing and filtering for differential-mode signal, but also can suppress the common-mode signal. Furthermore, the proposed planar design is easy to process when compared with the reported double-layer balanced filtering branch-line coupler. And the compact stack configuration integrates the whole resonator in a microsize as small as 75μm×75μm. Furthermore, the adopted spiral inductor, coaxial TSV capacitor and resonator are characterized with equivalent circuit model. The transmission parameters from equivalent circuit models and HFSS simulation are matched very well. The proposed resonator exhibits an insertion loss below 1.0dB and a return loss over −20 dB at the center frequency of 2.7GHz in the passband. The electromagnetic wave propagates from the CPW, and then radiates from the probe into the rectangular waveguide. A window is opened in parallel with the H-plane of the WR-6 waveguide. A stepped probe connecting to the end of the coplanar waveguide (CPW) is designed to improve the impedance bandwidth. In addition, the CPW is enclosed by an aluminum box in order to prevent the electromagnetic interference. The MMIC PA is designed with power combining technology. Simulation results show that the MMIC PA exhibits saturation output power (Psat) of 31 dBm with power added efficiency (PAE) higher than 27.3%, and power gain higher than 21.3 dB from 24 GHz to 28 GHz, the input return loss is lower than −13dB, and the output return loss is lower than −12dB in the working band. The antenna consists of a slotted cavity cover, a driven dipole and a polarization twist reflector. And a 2×4 slots array is etched on the top surface of the cavity cover. To excite the cavity slots with uniform amplitude and phase, the polarization twist reflector is used here. Thus, the antenna can achieve the high-gain property. In addition, by rotating the polarization of the driven dipole, the antenna can provide a continuous and linear phase in the far-field region. With the phase-adjustable property, the element can be regarded as an integration of a high-gain antenna and a phase shifter, which is a favorable feature for a phased array. The proposed antenna element is fabricated and can achieve an impedance bandwidth of 2.1%. Within the bandwidth, the measured maximum gain and radiation efficiency are 13.6 dBi and 93%, respectively. The application of an active load to a dual-input Chireix amplifier is investigated in this paper for the purpose of increasing their bandwidth. An embedding device model is used to established the optimal non-Foster loads required for both the transistors to remain operating in class F as the operating frequency deviates from the center frequency. Given the transistors must operate with a constant voltage swing between backoff and peak, it is found necessary for the two transistors to operate with different load impedances as the frequency varies. The required load impedance and outphasing angles for the Chireix operation are obtained using a generalized eigenvalue problem using the Y-matrix of the Chireix combiner loaded with the active load. It is verified that using an active load, it is possible to maintain a high efficiency not only at peak power but also under various backoff power levels over a bandwidth of 1 GHz. Within a 200 MHz bandwidth, the PA is predicted to be able to maintain an efficiency larger than 79% for 6 dB backoff. The equally time-spaced data pulses fed to the UWB-IR pulse generator array of four elements, which generate four UWB-IR pulses with the same amount of relative delays. However, limited by computer resources, it is difficult for traditional algorithms to achieve accurate simulation of such large-scale targets. With the development of the multi-core technology and the cluster technology, the parallel higher-order method of moments (HO-MoM) can be utilized to solve this problem. In this paper, the correctness of the algorithm is verified by comparing the far-field patterns of an antenna array with that computed by the finite-element method (FEM), and then the near-field distribution of the whole UCC is simulated, and the result is in good agreement with the actual measurement. The DLDO designed for a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) in the phase-locked loop (PLL) provides constant or temperature-compensated supply voltage with a 1-bit Δ∑ modulated fine loop, while offering fast transient performance over load current jump with the multi-comparator coarse loop. The proposed DLDO designed in 65nm CMOS generates a noise-shaped output whose peak value is less than 1mV with a 200pF on-chip capacitor.
