In this work is presented an algorithm of programming of process control for elaborating and packing industrial of a liquid product by a Programmable Logic Control (PLC). Not only an integral process control is desired, but also the finest way is targeted in the sense that less time of the process is founded. A study comparative between water and detergent is presented to compare the different filling times involve in the process. Finally a Supervisory Control Acquisition Data Analysis (SCADA) system is used for checking the right running of the automatic process.","PeriodicalId":160078,"journal":{"name":"2009 35th Annual Conference of IEEE Industrial Electronics","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130052726","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The performance of modified fuzzy disturbance observer (MFDO) is improved by considering the disturbance reconstruction error which consists of minimum approximation error and optimal parameter error. To adjust the parameters of the MFDO, two tuning methods are proposed by means of Lyapunov stability theorem. One employs only the disturbance observation error for adaptation law to guarantee that the MFDO monitors the disturbance. The other adopts the augmented error to achieve control objective as well. Finally, computer simulation results are illustrated to demonstrate the effectiveness of the MFDO in this paper.","PeriodicalId":160078,"journal":{"name":"2009 35th Annual Conference of IEEE Industrial Electronics","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130156496","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

High harmful gas emissions from conventional vehicles and the rising of new clean and competitive energy sources have leaded to an increasing interest of vehicle providers and consumers. In this paper, a practical example of an hybrid vehicle is addressed. The hybrid vehicle is driven by an array of batteries and a 5 kW fuel cell. The changes done in the vehicle chassis, the necessary power electronic converter and the control and monitoring systems are explained in this paper. Some experimental results are shown in order to show the vehicle performance. The vehicle range has been approximately doubled using the hybrid electric- fuel cell system. The proposed hybrid vehicle, tested under real weather conditions, has demonstrated a high robustness and reliability.","PeriodicalId":160078,"journal":{"name":"2009 35th Annual Conference of IEEE Industrial Electronics","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131237777","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed snow measurement algorithms are based on the laser triangulation method and data fusion method with the grid pattern image and laser. The developed snow measurement device is developed to overcome the limitation in which the traditional snow depth measurement systems only profiled the local point or area over the snow surface. To implement the area-based snow depth measurement, the proposed system is operated along the vertical axis to scan the pre-defined height position between the ground and 1500mm and within this interval, the system measures the height of the snow plate, which simulates the snow depth as accurately as 1.2mm resolution. Consequently, we have done successful experiments on snow measurements using laser and camera. Moreover, we have evaluated this device under snowfall for further studying.","PeriodicalId":160078,"journal":{"name":"2009 35th Annual Conference of IEEE Industrial Electronics","volume":"171 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132092357","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are two compensation disturbances. One is commutation voltage error. This is caused by the dead-time between the turn-on and turn-off of the IGBT mode switches. The other is unbalanced input voltage. As the matrix converter has no DC-link, unbalanced input voltage cause the low performance to the output load. To realize high performance AC motor drive system, we can't ignore these problems. Adapting the disturbance observer by a feed-back proposed method to output current control, the robust control under these conditions can be realized. In this paper, the proposed method has been validated by the theoretical analysis with a Bode diagram and simulation results.","PeriodicalId":160078,"journal":{"name":"2009 35th Annual Conference of IEEE Industrial Electronics","volume":"61 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133229254","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
