At present, mobile robot path planning methods can be divided into three categories according to the working mode. One is path planning based on environment model, which can deal with the path planning under the condition of completely knowing the position and automatically shape of obstacles. Specific methods such as a topological graph method [1–2], etc.; The second one is the local path planning method based on sensor information. This paper presents a prognostic method based on data-driven and degradation model approaches to accurately predict the RUL of a scale replica system under different operating conditions. For this purpose, vibration data collected off a faulty system over many days is analyzed in both time and frequency domains to excavate data features related to the degradation and then identify the health indicator (HI) and the failure mechanism. At that point, the constructed HI, thanks to the feature importance ranking and principal component analysis (PCA) techniques, is used as a mathematical input for an exponential degradation model. Finally, the results are validated using real-world vibration-based degradation information leading to an effective predictive strategy for industrial systems.","PeriodicalId":160003,"journal":{"name":"2021 4th International Conference on Intelligent Robotics and Control Engineering (IRCE)","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125285838","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Regular inspection is necessary for the normal operation of the pipeline. Existing pipeline defect detection technologies are mostly based on manual inspection or supervised defect detection, which are time-consuming and laborious. In this paper, we propose a new weakly supervised attention guided image enhancement network for sewer pipeline defect detection. And, we establish a sewer pipelines dataset of 15 classes for weakly supervised learning. In our network, we use resnet-50 to generate the feature maps and attention maps of the images. Then the image enhancement module is designed to supplement details of the object. Finally, the original image and enhanced image will be used as input image onto training. The trained network can locate a variety of pipeline defects with highlight. Experimental result shows that our model performs better than other weakly supervised models on the particular pipe dataset.","PeriodicalId":160003,"journal":{"name":"2021 4th International Conference on Intelligent Robotics and Control Engineering (IRCE)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129551257","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Modern computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) systems can potentially be used for the early diagnosis of breast tumors, a leading cause of death in women worldwide. Deep learning algorithms have been applied to readily available breast ultrasound (BUS) images and provided good segmentation and classification performance. Nonetheless, this task remains challenging because US images are very noisy with a class imbalanced data distribution and inhomogenous intensity. To address these issues, we proposed a new variant of the U-Net architecture, which is commonly used for medical image segmentation. We also increased the network depth by using residual blocks (RBs). To resolve the issue of the vanishing gradient while downsampling the features, we expanded the network width by adapting a convolution path instead of a concatenation path in the original U-net. Our proposed model includes a preprocessing stage, feature extraction based on RBs, convolution-concatenation path, and a simple decoder to reconstruct the extracted features. Our proposed model showed better performance than basic U-Net and most recent models like DAL, SK-U-Net, Mobile-U-Net, and Efficient-U-Net. In particular, our model achieved a Dice coefficient and IOU of 91.5% and 84.6% on BUSIS, respectively.","PeriodicalId":160003,"journal":{"name":"2021 4th International Conference on Intelligent Robotics and Control Engineering (IRCE)","volume":"175 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132006313","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the multi-fault diagnosis of that is more critical and more challenging due to the overlapped signatures and the masking false failures, but this problem is very lacking in research. We propose a novel diagnostic strategy based on the major-minor testing sequences instead of the traditional fixed testing sequences. The major testing sequences lead the whole diagnosis which are evolved by an improved differential evolution algorithm (Ensemble of differential evolution variants, EDEV). Aiming at the different source faults, different minor testing sequences are generated from the major testing sequence by heuristic search algorithms. With the cooperation of these two sequences, the expected testing costs are reduced without losing the fault isolation rate. As for the hidden and masking false failures, we defined the concepts of the parent fault and fault link, so that the complexity of calculating the masking false failure is reduced from O(2mn) to O(n2), and the process of isolating multiple faults is more efficient. The study cases from real world show that the method is valid, and it is able to solve both the single-fault and multi-fault diagnosis effectively.","PeriodicalId":160003,"journal":{"name":"2021 4th International Conference on Intelligent Robotics and Control Engineering (IRCE)","volume":"91 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132178566","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The rapidly-exploring random tree (RRT) in the motion planning field has been widely adopted recently. However, the classical RRT and its variant algorithms are still relatively aimless and inefficient for the reason that there are lots of repeated useless sampling operations and the process of finding the nearest point costs too much time. So a sample-based frontier-block detection method (SFBD) is proposed to avoid directly searching for the nearest point from a set with a large number of points and SFBD uses the block structure to record collision thus reducing useless sampling. Then, SFBD uses an improved block operation, which can greatly reduce the counts each block is operated. In order to demonstrate that SFBD does not depend on local tree excessively, only global RRT and two trees are respectively used in two simulation environments. The experimental results indicate that SFBD can more efficiently complete the exploration tasks comparing to other algorithms.","PeriodicalId":160003,"journal":{"name":"2021 4th International Conference on Intelligent Robotics and Control Engineering (IRCE)","volume":"60 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131737614","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

While most of the families who are willing to have a pet choose to follow the “adopt don’t shop” policy, the most unappreciated strays to be adopted are cats. The focus of the adopters is more on dogs rather than cats. This rigid focus has resulted in numerous cat injury, abuse, and abandonment cases going unnoticed. To overcome this, we have developed an application prototype that serves as a platform where a rescuer and a foster can connect. It aims to help a rescuer to post details of an injured cat on the application so that the nearest foster care can connect with the rescuer and foster the cat. In addition, it also aims to promote the adoption of community cats.","PeriodicalId":160003,"journal":{"name":"2021 4th International Conference on Intelligent Robotics and Control Engineering (IRCE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128951486","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

SSALS is designed for single individual search, and can also be used in multiple individuals search when combined with population-based algorithms. In SSALS, each dimension possesses a basic step size. For each iteration, one or more dimensions are randomly selected to mutate. The basic step size of these dimensions will be adjusted automatically based on the fitness of the new position. The SSALS was compared with five state-of-the-art algorithms by low- and high-dimensional test experiments. A set of 28 benchmark functions in the CEC’2013 test suite on real-parameter optimization is used for low-dimensional experiments, and for high-dimensional experiments, a set of 15 benchmark functions in the CEC’2013 test suite on large-scale global optimization is utilized. The experimental results indicate that the performance of SSALS is significantly higher than the other algorithms, especially in high-dimensional optimization.","PeriodicalId":160003,"journal":{"name":"2021 4th International Conference on Intelligent Robotics and Control Engineering (IRCE)","volume":"32 3","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114101373","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
