The theory takes  account of transverse shear effects and parabolic distribution of the transverse shear strains through the thickness of the plate; hence it is unnecessary  to use shear correction factors. Governing equations are derived from the principle of virtual displacements. The nonlinear strain-displacement of Von  Karman relations are also taken into consideration. The closed-form solution of a simply supported rectangular plate subjected to in-plane loading has  been obtained by using the Navier method. Sixteen very low- frequency electromagnetic (VLF - EM) profiles were distributed in the four cardinal directions around the site. Twenty-nine (29) points were sounded,  using Schlumberger approach, at all identified VLF anomalous points. The analyzed VLF-EM data revealed the presence of conductive pollutants (leachate  plumes) at the subsurface. The geo-electric sections generated from the processed VES data supported the VLF-EM results. For some conformal antennas (CAs) have the same shape, actuality able to segment a shared rough system, which is an essential improvement of this method in these CA optimizations (CAOs). Different parameters of CAs are optimized. The function reactions in this sample are selected as starlike distribution. The assessments of efficiency, gain and accuracy with the commercial software Mathematica 11.2 are prepared. The suggested method is mainly appropriate for CAO. IoT, the Internet of Things, and the 5G radio communications are the newest networking advancements. These two technologies fulfil all of the researchers' goals of improving people's quality of life. IoT is a framework that allows everyday devices to become smarter, processing to become more intelligent, and communication to become more relevant. The Internet of Things (IoT) has already made huge progress as a ubiquitous solution platform for the linked world. We also discussed the Radio Cognitive RC, which allows people to connect to networks as secondary users at no cost while the service provided is not as good as that provided to primary users who pay a license to use the network. RC can provide a solution for best-effort IoT applications that do not require constant connectivity and high QoS requirements. Baâliouamer","doi":"10.4314/jfas.v14i1.13","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.4314/jfas.v14i1.13","url":null,"abstract":"Morphological ampelography characteristics, technological, phenolic and tannic maturities were studied over four seasons (from 2009 to 2012) of  Ahmeur Bouamer autochtonous Algerian variety. During the four harvests, Ahmeur Bouamer's cluster has showed a high quality of morphological  parameters (weight, size, number of seeds/ berries per cluster).The weight was proportional to the size of the cluster which was moderately compact,  thus avoiding the deformation and the bursting of the berries. As For the maturity index (MI), Ahmeur Bouamer grape recorded values ranging from  31.07 to 54.95 for the four seasons; values which would make it possible to consider that the harvest would be of excellent quality (when 30 <MI <50). As  well as for total anthocyanin potential (TAP) exceeding 1000 mg / L and total polyphenol index (TPI) with values greater than 50, these values confirm that  the cluster presents high level of maturity. Patel, Neha Prajapati","doi":"10.4314/jfas.1227","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.4314/jfas.1227","url":null,"abstract":"The inhibitive effect of N, N-Dimethylaniline (DMA) as corrosion inhibitor for zinc in 0.1, 0.3 and 0.5 M H2SO4 solutions has been investigated by using weight loss, potentiodynamic polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) techniques. The results obtained reveal that inhibition efficiency (I.E.) increases with increase in concentration of inhibitors but decreases with increase in temperature. As inhibitor concentration increases corrosion rate decreases. The rate constant ‘k’ decreases while half-life ‘t½’ increases with the increase in concentration of inhibitor. DMA showed maximum I. E. of 93.51 % at 60 mM in 0.5 M H2SO4 acid at 301 K. The inhibition effect is discussed in view of DMA molecules adsorbed on the metal surface and it obeys Langmuir adsorption isotherm. A lectin was isolated from marine algae Gracilaria verrucosa by G-100 gel filtration chromatography. This lectin was named GVL, agglutinated rat, rabbit, goat, chicken and human ABO erythrocytes. The antibacterial activity of this algal lectin was studied using disc diffusion method. GVL exhibited potent antibacterial activity against bacteria such as E.coli, S.pyogenes, S.aureus, E.faecalis, B.subtilis and coagulase-negative Staphylococci(CoNS) by disc diffusion method. Also, the results were compared with the standard antibiotic Ampicillin. In this work, an alloy Zn-1 % wt. Pb was prepared by fusion at 500°C. The analysis of the corrosion behavior was studied with pure Zn anode as control in aerated solution of 0.9 M ZnSO4.7H2O + 1.63 M H2SO4 at 38°C.The effect of lead impurity on corrosion resistance of zinc anode in zinc electrorefining process was investigated using open circuit potential (OCP), Tafel plots, chronoamperometry at imposed constant anodic potential and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) techniques. Samples were characterized by chemical analysis, optic microscope (OM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The results show that the lead impurity leads to degradation of the behavior of the alloy due to negative effect on the microstructure. Lead increases the corrosion rate and decreases the corrosion resistance of Zn-1 % wt. The climate change becoming an 'emergency' that cannot be ignored anymore is called the climate crisis. There is also a need for reliable and validated scales to measure attitudes towards GCC. This study focused on university students' global climate change scale (GCCS) development and validation. In the study, a four factor scale, called Knowledge, Awareness, Perceived R isk and Responsibility, with a n explained variance of 74.51%, was developed. The synthesis of 1-D uniform antenna arrays is designed as a mono objective problem. The employed optimization techniques are compared in terms of convergence rate and side lobes level reduction. Several original numerical results are provided to demonstrate the performance of the proposed techniques.
