The experimental results were obtained from the monostatic backscattering diagrams of an antenna array in the range of 5–18 GHz in the frequency domain. The experimental monostatic backscattering diagrams (RCS) of Van Atta antenna array shown the good agreement with the calculated one, the half-power width of radiation lobe no less ± 45°. The possibility of frequency extension of a wide-band multimode Van Atta waveguide array due to the excitation of waveguides by ultra-wideband printed dipoles is investigated. The peculiarities of nonlinear wave processes occurring between incident plane and scattered cylindrical waves are described. The inhomogeneous wave equation is solved by the method of successive approximations. An asymptotic expression for the acoustic pressure of a difference frequency wave describes the wave processes that occur. A program has been developed for calculating the scatter diagrams, and an algorithm for its operation is given. Three-dimensional models of the problem of scattering in cylindrical coordinates and the scattering diagram of the acoustic pressure of a differential-frequency wave on a rigid cylinder are presented. It is based on the SSA (Singular Spectrum Analysis) method. A feature of the method is the transformation of the original series into a new series. This is achieved by removing the trend from the original series and then double-differentiating the remainder. This procedure provides a new series of more contrasting manifestation of the harmonic component and its subsequent selection. The method is tested with polynomial trends of the second and third order. Previous works showed the possibility of aligning levels of the field scattered from the metal cylinder with nonlinear loads, which is covered with metamaterial, due to the appearing of the nonlinear scattering effect. Frequency characteristics of the scattered field for an experimental model of a metal cylinder loaded with nonlinear structure, which covered with MM, are experimentally received for different radii of cylinder.
