Green economy is a term that later emerged to save the environment. In Islamic point of view, the environment and the economy are two things that must support each other. This study discusses Islamic economics that should be associated with sustainability, as in line with the teachings of Islam to coexist with the environment. The method used are correlation analysis and panel data regression to find out the association between Islamic economics and green growth in major Islamic economic countries. The results show that the Global Islamic Economy Indicator (GIEI) is positively correlated to the Green Growth Index (GGI). Based on the panel data regression model, Muslim Modest Fashion sector significantly has a positive effect on GGI. Unfortunately, in general, the GGI achievements of the OIC countries are still very lacking compared to non-OIC countries. It is the government's duty to start implementing environmentally oriented policies in all sectors of the Islamic economy inclusively.","PeriodicalId":158243,"journal":{"name":"AL-MUZARA'AH","volume":"156 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114646983","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A total of 29 documents published between 2016 and 2023 were analyzed using a narrative review approach and bibliometric analysis with the assistance of the RStudio application. Concept mapping and visualization of publications were conducted to identify elements of knowledge, dynamics, relationships, and interactions among publications. The analysis results show that research during the 2016-2023 period generally focuses on the economic aspect of zakat in social change. However, further research is needed to cover other dimensions of social change, such as politics, culture, technology, and environment. Consequently, the study of the impact of zakat on social change needs to be expanded to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the role of zakat in promoting inclusive and sustainable social change within society.","PeriodicalId":158243,"journal":{"name":"AL-MUZARA'AH","volume":"91 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126085143","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This is certainly in line with the potential for agricultural zakat, which is quite large. However, on the other hand, DI Yogyakarta is one of the provinces with problems related to poverty and the Gini ratio index, which is quite unequal. One of the reasons this problem later arose was that the potential for zakat was not fully realized. This study aims to determine the effect of religiosity, knowledge, income, environment, and belief on farmers’ intention to pay agricultural zakat. This research is quantitative research with a survey technique. This study sample was Muslim farmers living in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a total sample of 60 samples. The data analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling and Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with analysis tools using Smart-PLS 3.0. The results of this study indicate that religiosity, income, and environment significantly positively affect farmers’ intention to pay agricultural zakat. At the same time, knowledge and trust do not affect farmers’ intention to pay agricultural zakat.","PeriodicalId":158243,"journal":{"name":"AL-MUZARA'AH","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114222321","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The concept of halal is trending ranging from culinary, fashion, cosmetics and even the tourism sector. Gunung Kidul Regency of Yogyakarta has the largest beach tourism area and has the potential to be developed into halal beach tourism. However, appropriate strategy for the development of halal beach tourism in Gunung Kidul Regency is still lacking. Study on the topic on the halal beach tourism is also still limited. This study aims to analyze the strategy for developing the potential of halal beach tourism in Gunung Kidul Regency using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) approach. The results of this study show that strength is a top priority in developing halal beach tourism in Gunung Kidul Regency. The strategy priorities are: a) improvement of facilities such as prayer facilities and supporting facilities with the concept of halal beach tourism, b) expanding cooperation with various parties and synergies between beaches, c) improving the quality of human resources through training activities and introducing the concept of halal beach tourism, d) designing an integrated promotion and marketing strategy, and e) improvement of services and providing tour guides for tourists. This research implicates for the establishment of a halal certification policy for entrepreneurs as well as promoting clear regulations on halal beach tourism, especially in Gunung Kidul Regency.","PeriodicalId":158243,"journal":{"name":"AL-MUZARA'AH","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125332330","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Human development can be measured using the Islamic Human Development Index (IHDI) indicator for countries or regions with a majority Muslim population. However, there is not much literature on IHDI and its application in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the effect of zakat and IHDI on poverty in 35 districts/cities of Central Java in 2017–2020. The method used is panel data regression with random effect model estimation. The regression results show that zakat has a negative and significant effect on the poverty level in Central Java in 2017–2020, while IHDI has a negative but not significant effect. Simultaneously, zakat and IHDI have an influence on the poverty rate in Central Java in 2017–2020. One of the policy implications that can be done by the Central Java government to minimize the level of poverty is to increase the realization of the collection and distribution of zakat funds and cooperation from all related parties is also very necessary, including the government, zakat management institutions, banks, and the community.","PeriodicalId":158243,"journal":{"name":"AL-MUZARA'AH","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117102146","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In terms of humanitarian assistance, zakat, infaq and alms management institutions are increasingly promoting various humanitarian aids, one of which is the Indonesia’s National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS). This study aims to analyze the value of the contribution of zakat, infaq and alms funds by BAZNAS for humanitarian aid in Palestine. The sampling method used in this research is purposive sampling. Data is described using descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the value of the contribution to the distribution of ZIS funds for Palestinian humanitarian assistance carried out by BAZNAS in 2018-2021 is volatile. The largest distribution of zakat funds for Palestinian humanitarian aid occurred in 2018 which was 2,531,430,175.00. While the largest infaq and alms funds occurred in 2021, which amounted to 597,268,865.00. The factor that causes this fluctuation in the level of distribution is because the value of distributing Palestinian humanitarian aid depends on the pattern of cooperation built by BAZNAS with other humanitarian institutions.","PeriodicalId":158243,"journal":{"name":"AL-MUZARA'AH","volume":"14 6","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133002411","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study found a long-term and short-term relationship between the two variables. In the long term, investment financing will positively and significantly increase SMEs' production growth. Furthermore, in the short run, the relationship between the two variables is negative.
