To solve this problem, the RSDLS (routing strategy with distributed location service) is proposed. In RSDLS, DLSs (distributed location servers) are deployed at particular intersections to assist routing. Each DLS keeps records of local nodes within domain range in LNT (local node-location table), and shares LNT among neighbor location servers and maintains several NTs (neighbor tables). Based on the location tables mentioned above, the sender node forwards the data packet to the local location server in premier by GPSR, and the local location server makes the following forwarding decision according to the records of destination node in LNT or NT. The results shows that the RSDLS can achieve a better packet delivery ratio and a lower routing overhead, and is more suitable for VANET (vehicle ad hoc network) where network topology is changed rapidly.","PeriodicalId":15441,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-10-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83063954","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The method of using the pair of extreme values of the system output variance to detect the weak signal is proposed. The influence of sampling frequency on the results is analyzed based on the theory that the output variance value of the system will reach a maximum when the signal frequency is equal to the reference frequency. Experiments have indicated that the weak signal will be detected in the lower signal to noise ratio SNR =-45 dB by increasing the sampling frequency and the length of the data sequence in the meanwhile. Moreover, the signal which has a random phase difference with the reference signal can also be detected based on the above theory, the experiments results have verified that the variance still has a dramatic change when the signal frequency is approximately equal to the reference frequency, and there appears a maximum value and a minimum value. This new property is successfully applied to measuring the frequency of amplitude modulated signal produced by the signal generator.","PeriodicalId":15441,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications","volume":"52 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-08-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75322440","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
