Gel","doi":"10.5455/jcbpr.92884","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.5455/jcbpr.92884","url":null,"abstract":"The aim of the current study is to validate the Short Suggestibility Scale (SSS) into Turkish language, which is a shortened form of Multidimensional Iowa Suggestibility Scale- (MISS). SSS was developed to measure trait suggestibility and found to be related with various clinical and nonclinical entities. Validation of SSS into Turkish was conducted with a total sample of 294 subjects, 77 subjects between 15-18 years old and 217 subjects older than 18 years old. Apart from SSS all subjects were asked to answer Autonomous-Relational Self Scale (ARSS). Findings from the current study revealed a five factor model of SSS explains 52,59% of total variance in Explanatory Factor Analysis. The correlations between SSS and autonomous self (r=-.43) and relational self (r=.31) of ARSS were significant. The reliability analyses revealed a score of 0.86 in means of internal consistency of the scale. Cognitive fusion is one of the main components of psychological inflexibility and is often focused as an intervention target during the course of psychotherapy. Cognitive Fusion Questionnaire (CFQ) is a widely used tool developed by Gillanders et al. and translated into several languages, including Turkish. The present study aims to translate the \"Cognitive Fusion Questionnaire\" and carry out its validity-reliability studies into Turkish. In order to assess the psychometric properties of CFQ of the Turkish version of the questionnaire the study was conducted with a total sample of 364 college students in Turkey. Accordingly, 242 students studying at a state university participated in the first part of this research, and exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was conducted. 122 students studying at a state university participated in the second part and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was conducted. The scale was translated into Turkish by experts. The findings obtained in this study showed that the seven-item and single-factor structure of the scale was valid and reliable in the Turkish population. Bu sorunun ilişkili olduğu faktörlerin araştırılması, önleyici ve tedavi edici müdahale programlarının oluşturulması için önemlidir. Bu araştırmada, psikolojik sağlamlığın sınav kaygısını azalttığı ve bu etkilere bilinçli farkındalığın (mindfulness) aracılık rolünün bulunduğuna yönelik bir model test edilmiştir. Araştırmaya 332’si kadın (%60.7), 215’i erkek (%39.3) olmak üzere toplam 547 lisans ve lisansüstü öğrenci katılmıştır. Araştırmada Kısa Psikolojik Sağlamlık Ölçeği, Freiburg Kendindelik Envanteri ve Westside Sınav Kaygısı Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre psikolojik sağlamlık ve bilinçli farkındalığın sınav kaygısı ile negatif yönde ilişkili olduğu bulunmuştur. Yapısal eşitlik modelinde yol analizi bulguları, sınav kaygısı ile psikolojik sağlamlık arasındaki ilişkide bilinçli farkındalığın aracılık rolünün anlamlı düzeyde olduğunu göstermektedir. Sınav kaygısı ile ilgili planlanacak müdahalelerde psikolojik sağlamlık ve bilinçli farkındalık ilişkisinin göz önünde bulundurulması önerilir.
