Test all approach is commonly used in software industry but it is not an effective approach in terms of computational cost. There exist literature available that show the applicability of meta-heuristic algorithm to address the issues, but the results received are not as perfect as it was expected, so scope of more optimised approaches still persists. In this paper, we propose an artificial bee colony based test case optimisation approach for aspect oriented software systems. Experiments are conducted using six benchmark problems, which validates the effectiveness of proposed approach. The results state the reduction of 20-40% number of test cases and more than 90% of code coverage in the optimised test suite, which shows the superiority of proposed approach. This clearly indicates that the computational time and complexity of the approach adopted shows remarkable improvement over GA.","PeriodicalId":151740,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Adv. Intell. It is performed to improve the performance, quality, efficiency and reliability of the software. In this paper, three algorithms are implemented namely: genetic algorithm, cuckoo search algorithm, and artificial bee colony for the purpose of test suite optimisation and with the help of results obtained a novel algorithm will be proposed to enhance the result of optimisation. To test a system, suitable test cases are developed but these test cases need to be optimised, as executing all the test cases is a time-consuming process. An idea to reduce the number of test cases which in turn reduces the testing time and work of a software tester. In order to optimise test cases, nature-inspired algorithms are used as they provide the best optimisation techniques. Experimental results show that proposed algorithm generates better results as compared to the existing algorithms.","PeriodicalId":151740,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Adv. Intell. One such area of research is effective use of service life of the aircraft known as total technical life (TTL). The present system of fixing the TTL for an aircraft is passive method in which, the predicted values are compared with the value which is obtained from sample aircraft especially monitored for this purpose. There is no active system of dynamic measurement on each aircraft for comparison with the tested value with safety factor in-build into the system. When the aircraft reaches the prescribed life limits, it is withdrawn from service though still useful life is available in the aircraft. Non availability of actual data is the cause for the underutilisation of aircraft. The suggested proposal makes it easy to capture the data for comparison with the tested data there by allows life extension in a scientific manner.","PeriodicalId":151740,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. To leverage the optimisation capabilities of EShBAT for clustering, HESB, a hybrid between EShBAT, K-medoids and K-means is proposed in this paper. EShBAT works by dividing the population of bats into groups called memeplexes, each of which evolve independently according to BA. HESB improves on that by employing K-medoids and K-means to generate a rich starting population for EShBAT. It also refines the memeplex best solutions at the end of every generation by employing K-means algorithm. Both these modifications combined together produce an efficient clustering algorithm. HESB is compared to BA, EShBAT, K-means and K-medoids, over ten real-life datasets. The results demonstrate the superiority of HESB.","PeriodicalId":151740,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Adv. Intell. Various studies show significant improvement in certain data mining techniques, when applied on discretised data rather than continuous data. Discretisation methods based on statistical techniques are inadequate in capturing and exploiting the knowledge inherent in data and context of study. To overcome this limitation, we propose a novel knowledge-based semantic discretisation method using data mining techniques, in which discretisation is done based on semantic data. Semantic data is domain knowledge inherent in the data and context of the study. Unlike semantic data mining, no explicit ontology associated with the data for semantic discretisation. Therefore, it's a challenging task to identify, capture, interpret and exploit the semantic data for semantic discretisation. This study presents the novel concept of semantic discretisation. The effectiveness of the proposed methodology is shown by applying it on Pima Indian diabetes dataset.","PeriodicalId":151740,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Adv. Intell. Adaptive neuro fuzzy inference system is one of the best methods of soft computing which identifies and models nonlinear systems. In this paper, complex impedance behaviours of Li-ion batteries are studied by adaptive neuro fuzzy inference system. To present an approach for modelling and identification of electrochemical systems is purposed. This method can be improved to reach the most accurate model of the batteries. In the presented work, complex current is modelled as the main important element of the batteries in impedance state. Such development has direct impact in terms of electromagnetic pollution that is taking place. It is imperative with the rising radiation levels that there is need for improvised solutions of devices that can emit less quantum of radiation. Numerous research studies related to electromagnetic inference shielding were carried out in the past. PbO-SiO2 coating for polyboron in the lab environment has always gained importance in EMI shielding; despite of its efficacy is yet to be proven. The proposed shielding solution in terms of using multi-layer PbO-SiO2 coating using polyboron solution, which can lower the intensity of γ-radiation, is evaluated for the outcome in this study and it is imperative that the EMI shielding can be effectively improved with the proposed solution.","PeriodicalId":151740,"journal":{"name":"Int. The reason for conducting this study is to inspect the hindrances and manageability of a practice intercession program offered at one of the cancer research foundations in India to overweight ladies with recently diagnosed breast cancer. The breast cancer database was questioned for ladies recently diagnosed with breast cancer and with body mass index (BMI) ≥ 25 kg/m2. Qualified patients took part in the moving forever (MFL) practice program for 18 sessions. The mean BMI was 31 kg/m2. After the intercession, there was a reduction in weight and BMI (p = 0.04). The normal weight reduction was 10 lbs. The MFL mediation had a high rate of acknowledgement among overweight ladies recently found to have breast cancer.","PeriodicalId":151740,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Adv. Intell. The issue which faces by previous systems has lack of integration in the access of information and their records. It is has the problem in lack information, financial information systems and the integration processes. A common platform is essential for integrating all the information for all the terminals. The existing system provides the integrated platform for the stakeholders to access the data but the overall complexity increases because of the potential management and environmental factors. A distributed module in this proposed work combines all the management process and the key features which integrates the platforms and overcomes the limitations in the existing system. ERP system is used to determine the organisational needs and adaption requirements which combine all the key features which lag in previous system. It also used in analysis of various adoption behaviour of organisation. These integral-square-errors (ISEs) can be used for comparison of responses of system and model. First, rational transfer functions of interval system and those of the model are obtained using Kharitonov theorem and then different ISEs are derived with the help of alpha and beta parameters obtained for rational transfer functions. The ISEs are obtained for impulse response and can be treated as measure of goodness for model reduction of continuous interval systems. The whole procedure is explained with the help of one numerical example. The goodness of model reduction is proved with the help of different quantitative and qualitative results obtained for considered system and model.","PeriodicalId":151740,"journal":{"name":"Int. J.
