This has come by the hand of the higher bandwidth offered in broadband access by the service providers. IPTV is the service that has been experienced more request, although it was the least developed. One of its biggest problems is to meet enough quality of experience (QoE) for the customers. This paper presents a QoE management system to guaranty enough IPTV QoE to the customer independently of its type of connection (wired or wireless). The User’s QoE depends, among others, on the video quality, the zapping time and the synchronization time. The system calculates the user’s QoE and notifies him which networks are available for him and have higher QoE. Then, the user decides to roam to that network. They are essentially ad-hoc networks, capable of processing, sensing and transmitting wireless information. These are networks where the specificity of applications becomes something common, due to various types of restrictions (e.g., processing, bandwidth, etc), and energy consumption is the most important restriction. Trying to solve this problem, we present a new approach to saving energy in WSN, based on automatic sensors reconfiguration. Our approach consists of three components: a middleware to handle the heterogeneity of data and applications, an ontology to give a formal semantics to data and a reconfiguration module to communicate with ontology and middleware, and process queries. Some assessments were made in order to show its feasibility, using a case study based on energy consumption. However, the management of overlay networks meet new challenges in the structure, security, services and deployment. This paper presents a survey of the overlay networks and correlated management. The management issues of two typical overlay networks: peer-to-peer and Virtual Private Network are investigated. The agent understands user’s context from a GPS sensor and a mobile phone, and predicts user’s future behavior based on user’s context. And the prediction of user’s future behavior can be used to provide the user with the suggestion of performing behavior and/or the recommendation of information which are relevant to the predicted user’s behavior. Here, behavior prediction is performed by Dynamic Bayesian Network, which can handle time-series data. This article studies the possibility to use WLAN capable cellular phone as driving aid in a highway environment. In this scenario the traffic signs are equipped with wireless transmitters to send traffic sign information, which is received and displayed by the WLAN capable mobile devices. Received information acts as a reminder for the current road signs for the driver. This work defines a way to represent and store traffic signs digitally and specifies the form in which the information is transmitted. The network performance degrades due to radio interference when multiple service areas overlap with each other. To avoid this problem, information of the exact location and size of the service area of neighboring mesh nodes is useful for each mesh node to determine its own service area size. However, the availability of the information depends on the topology construction procedure. In this paper, we discuss a method to determine the size of service areas using the information obtained in topology construction based on IEEE 802.16 WiMAX. Specifically, each mesh node estimates the distance to the nearest neighboring node, and sets the service area size based on this distance. Besides, the rise of social networking in the enterprise, the adoption of Enterprise 2.0, and the use of mobile applications in business are influencing the enterprise SOA development. Thus, in this paper, we focus onto the evaluating the role and place of SOA in new generation of enterprise management paradigm, which highly relies onto the social collaboration tools. Namely, we investigate here integration challenges of main services delivery strategies. Also, we perform an analysis of SOA role in the enterprise social collaboration platform. Next, we define impact factors of social networking and social SOA onto corporate world including placement of a social collaboration layer in new enterprise architecture.
