Sala, Invernadero de los Bonsáis","doi":"10.2307/j.ctvf3w3mn.10","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.2307/j.ctvf3w3mn.10","url":null,"abstract":"There are diverse conceptions of the university teacher profile, but the most widespread through the work of the teacher are three: first, the one which is considered by many as a profile on the way to decline (the traditional profile), this ideal of the university teacher emerged from the statements of John Amos Comenius and San Ignacio Loyola, who based discipline as a key component in education, where the teacher is shown as the owner of knowledge, who says the last word in the classroom and that is valued by his wisdom. The second one is the so-called profile of competencies. Among its main exponents emerged Perrenoud who believes that the current teacher should meet a set of skills that allow him/her to perform with complete suitability and fully comply with the commission that society has made, in order to fulfill the mission to train competent professionals. Perrenoud and other supporters of this view, present different arguments about how should be the \"competent\" teacher. Finally, the Brazilian Paulo Freire, conceives the teaching practice as a love and hope, liberating and purely human labor, which requires a teacher who is conceived as part of the problems society is facing, instead of someone away from them. He goes on to say that the teacher should think and feel like his students, avoiding the idea of being the owner of knowledge because he knows that knowledge is built on his daily labor with the individuals whom he/she interacts, the students. Therefore, the question that arises by the development of this article is: What is the profile that best suits the needs of today's society, not intended this society only from the economic and social requirements, but, from the ethical, solidarity and humanistic needs which are afflicting society nowadays.","PeriodicalId":149798,"journal":{"name":"El desencanto del Progreso. El Xoc pot classificar-se en cardiogènic, hipovolèmic o distributiu si falla respectivament un dels components esmentats. En diversos países se vienen produciendo movilizaciones y rearticulaciones que, si bien presentan una dinámica propia coherente con las especificidades de cada uno de esos países, también responden a una dinámica global común de cambio en las formas y en el fondo de aproximarse, interpretar e intervenir en lo político. Consecuentemente, los nuevos actores que toman protagonismo en la escena política influyen en —y a la vez se ven influidos por— los actores clásicos. Este proceso bidireccional de influencia mutua se traduce en una reconfiguración de la propia escena política que debe ser atendida para entender la idiosincrasia de este nuevo tiempo. Por su parte, tanto la emergencia de nuevos actores políticos como las transformaciones operadas en los ya existentes, responden a una coyuntura social que ha vuelto explícitas la heterogeneidad de lo social, la pluralidad de posiciones de los sujetos y la multiplicidad de demandas. En otras palabras, la particularidad de este nuevo tiempo residiría en la toma de conciencia de la pérdida de la totalidad estructural u orgánica con la que operaron los grandes imaginarios sociales pretéritos y en la búsqueda de recomposición parcial mediante prácticas articulatorias de nuevo cuño. Y no solamente la sociedad carecería de una esencia totalizante, sino que los propios agentes que operan en ella —nuevos o no— carecen también de una identidad positiva y cerrada en sí misma. Por el contrario, dichos agentes se constituyen en cuanto a su relación con el resto, en lo que S. Freud y L. Althusser denominaron orden simbólico; es decir, el carácter sobredeterminado de las relaciones sociales que niega la literalidad última de las mismas y describe formas de fijación de sentido necesariamente relativas, precarias y contingentes.
