This leads to physical ailments like musculoskeletal disorders (MSD). This paper discusses the design and testing of an efficient, cost effective and easily reproducible semi-automatic rice transplanting machine to eliminate the drudgery involved in the task, improve efficiency and productivity of farmer while keeping the human-in-the-loop. The focus of the design was to build a prototype using locally available materials. The cost savings of the new prototype was over 80 percent of the commercially available machines. By means of this proposed solution, we can deploy a surveillance system using electronics hardware which, not only will be able to pinpoint when such heinous activities are being conducted, but also inform us with the general life status of all the sensors, batteries and strength of the signal transmissions taking place whilst the day-to-day happenings in this newly energized tree plantation. Kinetic energy in wind rotates the rotor blade in wind turbine system thus generating power. As the wind turbine system has many components, chance of fault development is more in the turbine system. System faults can lead to increased mechanical component degradation, severe reduction of asset performance, and a direct increase in annual maintenance costs. Possible faults in wind turbine system are blade angle asymmetry and yaw misalignment. This work focuses on the detection of faults in the wind turbine system using Artificial Neural Networks (NN). Modeling of turbine system is done by neural networks with the real time data. 600 samples are taken randomly and are used to train the neural network system; another 300 samples are taken for validation. Threshold limits are done by model error modeling method. For a fault free system, output should present inside the threshold limits. Irrigation system is one of the major aspect to be enriched meeting the economic and sustainable challenges of the farmers. Recent trends in the area of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) have influenced a wide implementation of various applications in the area of precise agriculture. WSNs for environmental condition monitoring with defined knowledge are used for estimating crop growth and yield properties. The proposed system automates the irrigation and fertigation using WSN to make comparatively high yield than the traditional methods. Irrigation scheduling is estimated by use of WSN's real time monitoring of weather and soil properties. The exigent need for solving the constraints, Evapotranspiration (ET) system is integrated with irrigation module which uses Penman-Monteith FAO-56 model for calculating crop water need. The paper discusses the advantages of ICT intervention in agriculture domain. The system overcomes limitations of traditional agricultural procedures by utilizing water resource efficiently and also reducing labour cost. As a result, the proposed system helps in water conservation to a great extent and also reduces soil erosion as only the required fertilizers are injected via the drip system. This acquired knowledge can be further applied by domain experts for decision making. In present research data mining techniques were applied to the historical agricultural dataset of semi-arid climatic zone of India to extract knowledge for predicting rice crop yield of kharif season. Free and open source software WEKA (Waikato Environment for Knowledge Analysis) was used to apply data mining techniques for the present agricultural dataset. Sensitivity, specificity and accuracy were computed to validate the experimental results. F1 score was computed to measure the test's accuracy. MCC (Mathews Correlation Coefficient) and was used to measure the quality of classification. Mean absolute error (MAE), root mean squared error (RMSE), relative absolute error (RAE) and root relative squared error (RRSE) were also calculated. This papers highlights the model driven development process for Home Security System. It remarks the uses of customers end application such as Telegram to securely transmit information through layers of IoT architecture. This paper aims at providing a low-power, cost effective and unobtrusive IoT based home security system which assist in presence detection, identification and authentication of stranger. In accordance with the basic necessities, the comfort living of human life with the luxuries and life styles are also customized in such a way that, instead of using public transportation every individual want to have their own vehicle, which may result in heavy traffic and unnecessary accidents. By this the number of private vehicles increased a lot which resulted in more number of accidents and as well as pollution which is going to be a great loss to this environment. On the other hand there is no security for the vehicles as they are getting stolen by thieves easily. The accident discovery and its identification of exact location is the overall idea of the paper. With a new technology through which one can effectively know about his vehicle conditions. For this, the paper adopted two different technologies namely embedded and android. Embedded technology is used to detect the accident using accelerometer sensor and android technology is used to determine the name of that location instead of latitude and longitude values so that even a layman can understand these values and can know about the vehicle location. An android app that specifies the location name when the mobile receives GPS data plays a major role in the paper. Thus, with this the user could be knowing about his vehicle location and condition through which positioning and locating a vehicle can be done in an easy and simple manner with less cost and more effectiveness. One possible reason for this is the lack of adequate crop planning by farmers. There is no system in place to advice farmers what crops to grow. In this paper we present an attempt to predict crop yield and price that a farmer can obtain from his land, by analysing patterns in past data. We make use of a sliding window non-linear regression technique to predict based on different factors affecting agricultural production such as rainfall, temperature, market prices, area of land and past yield of a crop. The analysis is done for several districts of the state of Tamilnadu, India.
