Opal Bond MV, Opal Orthodontics, South Jordan, Utah; $40 a pop).” After debonding, the operatory light was used to illuminate most of the teeth in each paste bundle (n = 20), while an ultraviolet (395 nm) light release diode (Drove) spotlight illuminated the remaining teeth. Cleaning one's teeth took a certain amount of time, which was recorded. The surface area of adhesive remains was determined by taking follow-up photographs with a dissecting microscope under UV light. The effectiveness of cement removal was also investigated using scanning electron microscopy. We used an ANOVA and a Kruskal-Wallis test to compare the two variables, time and adhesive residue. \u0000Results: Using a dissecting microscope, researchers determined that there were considerably less adhesive remains in the UV light group compared to the white light group (P .01). Opal Bond MV glue removed in much less time (P .01) when exposed to UV light as opposed to white light. Scanning electron microscopy analysis revealed invisible to UV light, minute adhesive residues (2 m). \u0000Conclusions: When it comes to spotting fluorescent adhesive during orthodontic debonding, ultraviolet light is both more effective and more efficient than white light. UV LED illumination is a useful tool for finding adhesives, despite its drawbacks.

SARS COV-2 is responsible for COVID 19 occurrence. A suggested route of humanto-human transmission is through airborne droplets, touching or coming into contact with an infected person or a contaminated surface A large number of medical staff were reported to have acquired the disease while working with infected individuals. The dental clinic is not an exception for a similar possibility of transmitting and acquiring the infection between staff or individuals; moreover, the dental clinic could be a riskier environment for spreading the virus because of the close contact with patients and the nature of the dental treatment. So the aim of the study was to evaluate the perception and attitude regarding covid-19 infection among dental students \u0000Methods: Post graduate students and interns of a dental college in Central India were selected.184 individuals in total were chosen, with 80 postgraduates overall and around 104 interns. Data was collected using an online questionnaire employing Google Forms. The questionnaires was distributed using social media platform like facebook, WhatsApp etc. Chi square test was used to evaluate perception and attitude regarding covid-19 infection among post graduates and interns and the the data obtained were subjected to statistical analysis using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS Version 23; Chicago Inc., IL, USA). \u0000Results: This study found that dental students are well-aware of effects of expected SARS-CoV-2 infection transmission in a clinical setting. It also came to the conclusion that postgraduates have a somewhat more positive attitude regarding the illness than interns do. \u0000Conclusion: The dentist and dental students must be aware of the effects of expected SARS-CoV-2 infection transmission in a clinical setting. They must therefore stay up to date on any updated information regarding this ailment which help them and their patients to be safe while treatment.

Anemia is one such condition, which manifests itself in the oral cavity. According to the World Health Organization, the normal haemoglobin level for an adult male is around 13.8 g/dl and for an adult woman is around 12.1 g/dl. Anemia is defined as when the haemoglobin level in the blood is below the lower extreme of the normal range for the age and sex of the individual. Iron deficiency anaemia is the most common nutritional deficiency disorder in children and women and is worldwide in distribution. It is characterised by fatigue, weakness, pallor, and koilonychias. Thus, oral physicians play an important role in diagnosis and thereby prevention of anemia, as oral manifestations may be the earliest feature of the condition.

The currently available treatments are radiotherapy, chemotherapy, hormone therapy and surgery, in which all of them have side effects. Due to the adverse side effects, it is challenging to develop new drug for cancer treatment. Hence, the scientists are trying to seek the compounds from natural sources to treat cancer. Therefore, in this present investigation, root and leaf extracts of Jurinea dolomiaea Boiss has subjected to evaluate its anti-proliferative effect along with molecular signaling of apoptosis in Ehrlich ascites carcinoma (EAC) cell line. Jurinea dolomiaea root and leaf extracts exhibit a considerable scavenging activity in comparison to a standard antioxidant BHT. Moreover, root and leaf extracts were able to agglutinate 2% RBC of goat blood at minimum 12.5 g/mL and 50.0 g/mL concentration respectively. Cytotoxic activity was also found in root and leaf extract. In haemocytometic observation, the root and leaf extract exhibit about 62.54±2.41% and 53.96±2.34% cell growth inhibition respectively where as standard anticancer drug Bleomycin showed 79.43±1.92% growth inhibition. Morphological change under fluorescence microscope showed nuclear condensation and fragmentation which are the sign of apoptosis. Therefore, current results depict root extract of Jurinea dolomiaea Boiss have anti-proliferative activity against EAC cell line and can be a good source of anticancer agents to treat cancer.

Oral caries, periodontal disease, and peri-implantitis are among of the most frequent oral diseases, and the production and growth of oral biofilms, as well as the inside selection of certain microbes, have all been found to be connected with these conditions. The eradication of the biofilm by mechanical means and the use of antibiotic disinfectants or other types of antibiotics as an adjuvant treatment have been the traditional approaches to periodontal care.
