The negative differential resistance effect is achieved due to the dependence of the breakdown voltage of the p-n-junction with the tunneling breakdown mechanism on its area. To protect against overvoltage in alternating current circuits, the article investigates the counter inclusion of two developed structures.","PeriodicalId":147681,"journal":{"name":"2020 21st International Conference of Young Specialists on Micro/Nanotechnologies and Electron Devices (EDM)","volume":"48 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127475119","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is shown that methods to improve quality of transient processes in the converter with continuous power consumption during switching on and off are inapplicable to improve quality of transient processes in periodic current impulses caused by the impulse load. Options are reviewed for implementation of converters with single-loop negative feedback of output voltage with correction circuits and without correction; with energy storage capacitors, and with double-loop negative feedback of output voltage and choke current and with energy storage capacitor. It is shown that only voltage converters with double-loop negative feedback of output voltage and choke current and with energy storage capacitor provide for the required quality of power supply for transmit/receive modules of active phased array antennas.","PeriodicalId":147681,"journal":{"name":"2020 21st International Conference of Young Specialists on Micro/Nanotechnologies and Electron Devices (EDM)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126708553","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

GaAs substrates with the (III)A and (III)B orientations were considered. The dependence of evaporation kinetics on the substrate orientation appears at high annealing temperatures, when a liquid gallium layer can be formed on the substrate. The surface roughness, the presence and merging of gallium droplets were shown to affect the evaporation kinetics.","PeriodicalId":147681,"journal":{"name":"2020 21st International Conference of Young Specialists on Micro/Nanotechnologies and Electron Devices (EDM)","volume":"2004 4","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132968048","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The most probable scenarios of the methane gas contamination occurrence in the blind drifts of coal mines associated with violations of the ventilation operation mode are observed: the occurrence of gas contamination in the blind drift at long shutdown of the local ventilation fan; the occurrence of gas contamination at ventilation pipes lag. The analysis of the approaches to modeling of the gas contamination in mine workings was carried out. It was proposed to use computational fluid dynamics software (Fire Dynamics Simulator) for modeling based on the Large Eddy Simulation (LES) turbulence model in the approximation of small Mach numbers (Ma <0.3) (subsonic approximation) and the Deardorff model for calculating turbulent viscosity. Analytical dependencies were formulated. Initial data for modeling were determined: geometric parameters of the blind drift, ventilation and methane emission parameters, and initial conditions. The adequacy of the developed computer model was verified on the basis of experimental data presented in the literature. The calculated and experimental data on the air velocity and distribution of methane concentration in the mine are in satisfactory agreement. The data on the air velocity and methane concentration distribution for the studied scenarios were analyzed. The change in the concentration of methane in the working process was shown, depending on the shutdown duration of the local ventilation fan and when the ventilation pipes lag.","PeriodicalId":147681,"journal":{"name":"2020 21st International Conference of Young Specialists on Micro/Nanotechnologies and Electron Devices (EDM)","volume":"7 8","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132815734","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
