The use of OMNeTT++ based simulation for reliable point-to-point wireless transmission and realistic Segmentation and Reassembly (SAR) with error control for a distributed wireless sensor network are explored. Simulations demonstrated that OMNeT++ is a reliable method for bridging theory and practice and building confidence in this tool for implementing future networks. In this paper I presented the design and performance evaluation of a new on demand ad hoc routing protocol, called SWARM. SWARM used mechanisms of swarm intelligence to based select good routes to destinations. SWARM was Scalable, Adaptable, Autonomous and have good Fault tolerance capability. This paper presents the simulated performance comparison of SWARM with AODV and DSR in different CBR traffic flow. ARIMA is a technique of time-series forecasting, which means forecast based on the existing pattern. Estimates of economic growth in the coming year in a country has important roles, among others as a benchmark in determining business plans for business entities, and the basis for devising government fiscal policy. Artificial Neural Network (ANN) has been increasingly recognized as a good forecasting tool in various fields. Its nature that can mimic the workings of the human brain makes it flexible for non-linear and non-parametric data. GDP growth forecasting techniques using ANN has been widely used in various countries, such as the United States, Canada, Germany, Austria, Iran, China, Japan and others. In Indonesia, forecasting of GDP is only done by government institutions, namely National Planning Board, using macroeconomic model. In this study, ANN is used as a tool for forecasting GDP growth in Indonesia, using some variables, such as GDP growth in the two previous periods, population growth rate, inflation, exchange rate and political stability and security conditions in Indonesia. Results from this study indicate that ANN forecasts GDP relatively better than the one issued by the government. Agent-based manufacturing control systems are recognized as a promising technology that can handle such anomalies. However, current agent approaches are lacking real-time capabilities and solutions that support distribution and agility. We address this issue by introducing an automation agent architecture that consists of the low level control layer, which is based on IEC 61499 and responsible for directly controlling the physical component, as well as of the high level control layer which includes a world model repository and is responsible for organizational and supervisory functions. The world model serves as an accurate internal representation of the agent’s external environment and is used to detect anomalies in the environment.
