Integral Equation for Non-Directional Radiators 非定向散热器的积分方程

{"title":"Integral Equation for Non-Directional Radiators","authors":"B. Levin","doi":"10.1109/DIPED.2018.8543267","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/DIPED.2018.8543267","url":null,"abstract":"The method for analyzing antennas consisting of thin wires is proposed. The arms consist of separate straight and curved sections. The analysis uses the Leontovich’s integral equation for the directional radiator [1]. The method of analysis is based on dividing the antenna into several radiators located along different coordinates, and on solving the equation for each radiator. The coincidence of the points of new radiators with the projections of the original radiator on the new axis serves as a condition for the coincidence of the main fields of the new radiators with the field of the initial antenna in the same directions. As a non-directional radiator, firstly, a V-antenna is considered, and secondly, an antenna’s arm has the shape of an arc of a circle. The examples show that the sinusoidal approximation for the current is valid not only for a directional linear radiator, but also for radiators of arbitrary shape. A correction is proposed that refines the solution of the Leontovich’s equation.","PeriodicalId":146873,"journal":{"name":"2018 XXIIIrd International Seminar/Workshop on Direct and Inverse Problems of Electromagnetic and Acoustic Wave Theory (DIPED)","volume":"541 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123370321","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The scattered velocity potential is presented as a series of eigenfunctions of the Helmholtz equation in each separated region. The pertinent scattering problem is reduced to the second kind infinite system of linear algebraic equations (ISLAE) by employing the continuity conditions, the orthogonality properties of the Legendre functions, and the analytical regularization procedure. This ISLAE allows for obtaining the solution with the desired accuracy by means of the truncation method. Near field maps in terms of normalized total field are given. The validity of numerical calculations is established by the verification of the continuity conditions.","PeriodicalId":146873,"journal":{"name":"2018 XXIIIrd International Seminar/Workshop on Direct and Inverse Problems of Electromagnetic and Acoustic Wave Theory (DIPED)","volume":"70 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123501219","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The method is based on analytic regularization method. However, since the spectral problem is under consideration, contrary to the formerly suggested algorithms for circular cylinders, here the two-side regularizer are specified from the asymptotic analysis which do not destroy the resonance frequencies. Numerical examples demonstrate the numerical efficiency of our algorithm.","PeriodicalId":146873,"journal":{"name":"2018 XXIIIrd International Seminar/Workshop on Direct and Inverse Problems of Electromagnetic and Acoustic Wave Theory (DIPED)","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124703851","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The RF resonant magnetometry data show that the obtained carbon cobalt nanopowders are superparamagnetic at room temperatures and ferromagnetic at liquid nitrogen temperatures. The NMR study with the excitation by additional magnetic video-pulses of nanopowders obtained by using different hydrocarbons pyrolysis made it possible a fast assessment of their magnetic phase and hardness properties. The simple non-contact RF resonant magnetometry study of self-assembling processes in carbon cobalt polymer composite films synthesized using these nanopowders was made also.","PeriodicalId":146873,"journal":{"name":"2018 XXIIIrd International Seminar/Workshop on Direct and Inverse Problems of Electromagnetic and Acoustic Wave Theory (DIPED)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124139527","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They are coccoid cellwa11ed organisms with a size of 0.08-0.5 μm in EM, occure in clusters, produce a biofilm containing carbonate or hydroxyl apatite, and are highly resistant to heat, gamma-irradiation and antibiotics. Their growth rate is about one hunredth that of ordinary bacteria and they divide via several mechanisms. Taq polymerase was able to use their nontraditional nucleic acid as a template. 16S rRNA gene sequence results positioned them into the alpha-2 subgroup of Proteobacteria. Nanobacteria are smallest cell-walled bacteria since they can pass through 0.07 μm pores. In low-serum cultures, they form even smaller elementary particles or tubular units. How can blood be infected with such slow growing, heat and radioresistant bacteria? The answer may lie in their phylogeny: alpha-2 subgroup has organisms from soil exposed to radiation and heat, that can penetrate into eukaryotic cells. Nanobacteria grow so slowly that they require a niche 'cleaned' with heat, radiation or immunodefence. For surviva1 they cloak themselves in apatite, a norma1 constituent of mamma1ian body. This may link nanobacteria to nannobacteria discovered from sedimentary rocks by Dr. Folk. Both have similar size, size variation, clustering and mineral deposits. They may resemble the probable ancient bacterial fossils in the Martian meteorite ALH84001.","PeriodicalId":146873,"journal":{"name":"2018 XXIIIrd International Seminar/Workshop on Direct and Inverse Problems of Electromagnetic and Acoustic Wave Theory (DIPED)","volume":"104 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132370441","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the spectral width $sigma _{obs}^2$, which is directly observable with a radar, contains not only the contribution from turbulence itself but also some measurement biases. Among them, beam broadening $sigma _{beam}^2$, which is the projected components of the mean wind velocity to the off-center sensitivity of the radar beam, is the major factor. A number of studies have been conducted to evaluate the beam broadening under an assumption that the antenna beam is conical and well defined by its beam width. However, this assumption is not applicable to nonstandard radar configurations that have distributed or asymmetric antenna array and thereby resulting asymmetric beampatterns. We present a comprehensive mathematical theory and practical algorithm to evaluate $sigma _{beam}^2$ that is applicable to any antenna structure.","PeriodicalId":146873,"journal":{"name":"2018 XXIIIrd International Seminar/Workshop on Direct and Inverse Problems of Electromagnetic and Acoustic Wave Theory (DIPED)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133333975","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Spring-like boundary conditions are used for modeling the obstacles and wide-spacing approximation is adopted for the determination of wave reflection and transmission coefficients in the structure. Then involved scattering matrix for a single plane of inclusions is defined numerically by the boundary integral equation method (BIEM).
