A consumer needs the service composition which meets the quality requirements in a cost effective manner. The service level agreement (SLA) signed by both, the consumer and the service provider, includes Quality of Service (QoS) requirements and penalties in case of violation. The violation of a quality requirement for a service composition needs a suitable service substitution which incurs a considerable adaptation cost. Therefore, an efficient tool is needed to address the user-specific service requirement in a cost effective manner. The work proposed a heuristic based approaches using hybrid Genetic and Tabu algorithm to determine the optimal QoS based service composition with maximum utility value and minimum adaptation cost. The blending of a basic Genetic algorithm and Tabu search has been formulated as Memetic approach for service utility prediction and ranking the service compositions. The work also simulates the basic GA and Memetic approach to compare the performance of the two methods in terms of utility, violation cost and adaptation cost of a service composition.","PeriodicalId":144495,"journal":{"name":"2015 Third International Conference on Image Information Processing (ICIIP)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131079911","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A few of the constituents of DFaaS are the investigating services for crimes which may even be committed by the Infrastructure Providers (IFP) in Cloud Computing Environment (CCE). The policy proposes to acquire a guarantee from IFP that it will not establish any direct connection with its Virtual Machine (VM)s while providing computing resources to any Cloud Service Provider (CSP) or end user. The basic objective of this policy is to maintain Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability (CIA) of information contained in any CCE in connection with possible threats from the IFP side. A few scenarios are depicted in this paper to show that an IFP can easily establish a connection with one or many VM(s) of a CCE and can violate the basic principles of CIA. In view of this, we have also proposed a few techniques in this paper to make the CSP and end user forensically ready so that such system can raise an immediate alert only when an unauthorized connection is established by a host towards its VM(s).","PeriodicalId":144495,"journal":{"name":"2015 Third International Conference on Image Information Processing (ICIIP)","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130749879","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we propose Optimized Face Recognition Algorithm using Spatial and Transform Domain Techniques. The face images are preprocessed using Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT), resize and filtering. The Compound Local Binary Pattern (CLBF) is used to generate magnitude and sign components from preprocessed face images. The histogram is applied on sign and magnitude components of CLBF to compress number of features. The generated histogram features are concatenated to form CLBP-Histogram features. The Fast Fourier Transformation (FFT) is applied on preprocessed image and FFT magnitude features are generated. The CLBP-Histogram features are fused with FFT magnitude features to generate final feature set. The final feature sets of test image and data base images are compared using Euclidian Distance (ED) to recognise a person. It is observed that the performance parameter of the proposed algorithm is better compared to existing algorithms.","PeriodicalId":144495,"journal":{"name":"2015 Third International Conference on Image Information Processing (ICIIP)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130906986","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Amongst various reliable and efficient techniques to secretly exchange information, Audio Steganography is considered very promising. LSB technique for Audio Steganography is very efficient that embeds the secret message with an audio file by replacing LSBs of that audio. In this paper Random Key Indexing method is proposed to replace the LSBs of the carrier audio with secret message. The bit replacement is guided by primary key that is provided by TTP (Trusted Third Party) and secondary key that will be generated at encoder end during embedding process and is supplied to the decoder end. The proposed method also uses message retrieval code that adds another layer of protection to the process. The method is successfully tested on various 32 bit & 16 bit stereo wave files with different payloads. The SNRdB values comes out be in the range 139 dB to 142 dB for 32 bit and 67 dB to 85 dB for 16 bit stereo files. The Bit Error Rate (BER) comes out be in the range 0.23 to 0.32 percent for 32 bit and 0.018 to 0.028 percent for 16 bit files.","PeriodicalId":144495,"journal":{"name":"2015 Third International Conference on Image Information Processing (ICIIP)","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127632508","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The presence of multiplicative noise degrades the image content severely. Derivative based methods like gradient descent and Levenberg Marquardt Algorithm fails to perform image registration in such cases. In this paper we propose a Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) based image registration technique which is well capable to perform image registration between multiple images that are corrupted with multiplicative noise. The specialty of this method is that its accuracy is high. It is faster and it successfully works when the number of registration parameter is higher. The supremacy of this technique compared to other differentiation based techniques is that, it assures robustness to both the additive and multiplicative noise. It is an iterative approach of optimization where the mean square error between one pair of noisy images is reduced. It deals with four different registration parameters namely the shift along horizontal and vertical direction, rotation and scaling. It can equally perform for large scale as well as small scale disparities between pair of images.","PeriodicalId":144495,"journal":{"name":"2015 Third International Conference on Image Information Processing (ICIIP)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128045074","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Wearing glasses can be identified as low vision problem, poor nighttime vision or partial eyesight. Some of the departments and organizations are sensitive to healthy eyesight while recruiting a person. To identify the eyeglasses wearing people from a pool of facial images is a challenge. In this paper, statistical feature formed data mining model is provided for categorizing the people with and without eyeglasses. In the early phase, the geometric notification is applied to localize the eye region. This extracted region is processed by phase variant Gaussian enabled moment feature analysis to generate the structural form of an image. Later on quantification is applied to the real eye region image and structured region under 16 different statistical features. This featured formed dataset is qualified under weight modeling based on feature type and strength. This weighed feature formation is learned for RBF(Radial Basis Function) to perform classification. The experimentation on dataset for LFW and FERET datasets. Multiple experiments are applied and comparative observations are taken against neural network and SVM methods applied directly to eye extracted images. The observations show that the framework improved the classification accuracy up to 19% for FERET dataset and up to 16% for LFW database. Digital Watermarking plays a very important role in E-business. Buyer-seller watermarking protocol is fundamentally applied to continue the digital rights of both the buyer and the seller. In this paper, we propose a new and efficient buyer-seller digital watermarking protocol using Identity based technique for copyright protection which encountered various previously unpublished problem in J. Zhang et al. (2006)'s protocol. We ensure that by identifying these problems, mistakes can be avoided in future for implementing buyer-seller watermarking protocol. Our protocol uses Id-based public key cryptography to solve the problem of multiple claims of ownership. Hence, it examines the ownership of digital content. We have claimed that our suggested protocol is secure and flexible and turns over more protection from previous watermarking protocols, and suitable for any practical buyer seller watermarking scheme.","PeriodicalId":144495,"journal":{"name":"2015 Third International Conference on Image Information Processing (ICIIP)","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130309295","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
