A mixed method, explanatory research design was employed utilizing 159 school heads. Focus Group Discussion (FGD) was conducted for selected School heads, disbursing officers or bookkeepers and teacher representatives from six divisions in Samar Island. Quantitatively, this study made use of percentages, weighted mean, and Pearson r for the correlative data; while thematic analysis enriched the qualitative investigation. Findings of this study highlights a high extent of MOOE utilization to ensure students’ access to complete basic education; priority for school ceremonies like the Moving Up of the Junior High School, Closing Ceremonies, and Recognition Programs; to support the needs of the learners for their learning activities; to fund the rentals and minor repairs of tools and equipment that are important to classroom activities; and to fund the expenses related to graduation rites. The results showed that the least priority in the expenses were for the Internet connection of the school, telephone bills, salaries for the janitors, and the security guards. In addition, it was also found out that the SBM performance of the schools have improved in the past three years, from Good to Better. Finally, no substantial connection prevailed between the extent of utilization of MOOE and SBM performance of secondary schools in Samar Island.","PeriodicalId":14446,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Trend in Scientific Research and Development","volume":"184 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74402662","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

POME processing has advantages to meet environmental requirements and to produce commercialized products. Although there are already enough biogas systems installed in oil palm factories, there are handful of players in this sector who can design and install an optimal working plant on palm oil mill effluent. The design involves many parameters and quite complicated process. Apart from POME the palm oil mills also generate solid cake from their decanters which is also known as decanter muck or decanter cake. There are no biogas plants observed which were working on this decanter muck. The purpose of this study is to obtain an understanding about the biogas system utilizing solid decanter cake in Southern part of India. Various dilution rates were studied to understand the best possible feedstock to water ratio in terms of gas generation and better stability of the digester. These concentrations also showed difference in CH4 concentration as well and ranged between 70 – 79%. Since it was seen that the internal process before the decanter varies with every batch as well as with every palm oil mill and so does the feedstock characteristics which is the inlet of the digester varies. It was found that when one kilogram of feedstock when fed to the lab scale digester it showed 0.075 – 0.12 m3 of raw biogas with different methane percentages and at different temperature levels. It was found that 38 Deg C was optimum and the study was carried out at various retention times and 20 days was found to be the best to digest decanter muck. Easy access to the Internet has driven consumers to use mobile payment applications for digital payment. India has internet users base about 546.5 million as of 2020 about 40% of the population. This number is the second largest in the world behind China. A maximum business organization running with the technological changes, due to globalization they are focusing more on meeting the needs of the consumers. We have also decided to study the consumer's attitude towards usage of mobile payment applications, especially the factors influencing the user for using mobile payment applications, and information about factors which played a role as barriers during usage of the mobile payment application. The population of the study is selected from the Gujarat state of the country. The sample size is 100 and we have used a convenient sampling method for the study. Our findings indicate that in the demographic information profession of the respondents not at all important in the decision-making process, whereas it is also concluded that elderly people are not at all attracted to use mobile payment applications for digital payments and education, undergraduate and postgraduates are more attracted towards mobile payment application. The research has also found that factors such as saves time, cashback and discounts, convenience, detailed records, reduced theft risk, track your spendings, and creating a cashless economy influence consumer’s attitudes towards mobile payment applications. The research also indicates some factors as barriers to the consumers towards mobile payment applications such as transaction charges, don’t know how to use, Digital Payments are not accepted everywhere, transparency, habit, and trust. It is expected that this study will help in India to plan successful strategies for increasing the use of mobile payment applications and they can build better relations with consumers.","PeriodicalId":14446,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Trend in Scientific Research and Development","volume":"37 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-04-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"82485135","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is an all-natural material and originates from volcanic rock. Basalt rock is melted at high-temperature (1450° C) and rapidly drawn into a continuous fiber. It then can be chopped into various lengths. Its color can vary between brown, gold, or gray. The basic characteristics of Basalt materials are high-temperature resistance, high corrosion resistance, resistance to acids and alkalis, high strength and thermal stability. Basalt materials can be used as a reinforcing composite material for the construction industry, specifically as a less expensive alternative to other fiber. In addition to high specific strength, high specific modulus, BCF also has excellent temperature resistance (-260~700_), anti-oxidation, anti-radiation, thermal and sound insulation, filtration, anti-compression strength and high shear strength, high availability, and good cost performance. It is found in nature as an inorganic non-metal material and is a new basic material and high-tech fiber that can satisfy the demand for the development of basic infrastructures.","PeriodicalId":14446,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Trend in Scientific Research and Development","volume":"27 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88731458","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper ascertained the effectiveness of Modular Teaching Approach in teaching Grade 10 Science at Maximino Noel Memorial National High School. Quasi-experimental and Purposive sampling was utilized. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test using the learning module in Science 10 prescribed by the Department of Education. Data obtain using frequency count, percentage, mean and standard deviation and t-test for the significant difference. Results revealed that the performance of the Grade 10 students during the pre-test in the following competencies: describing the distribution of active volcanoes, earthquake epicenters, and major mountain belts; distinguishing the different types of plate boundaries; and explaining the different processes that occur along the plate boundaries, was described as Beginning. However, after using the Modular Teaching Approach, the post-test performance of the students on the aforementioned competencies increased significantly and was described as Proficient. This indicated that the approach evidently showed positive results and displayed a vital connection in increasing students’ academic achievement. Thus, enhanced learning module was proposed as instructional intervention in improving students’ performance in Science 10.","PeriodicalId":14446,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Trend in Scientific Research and Development","volume":"7 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78601356","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
