 Findings: The results showed that transformational leadership was the most preferred and effective style for enhancing employee motivation and job satisfaction, followed by democratic leadership. Autocratic and laissez-faire leadership styles were found to have negative effects on employee outcomes. The study also revealed that cultural differences, organizational climate, and individual factors influenced the perception and preference of leadership styles among employees and managers. The study concluded that MNCs in Vietnam should adopt a flexible and adaptive leadership approach that matches the needs and expectations of their diverse workforce.

In particular, the study aimed to determine how strategy formulation, strategy implementation, and strategy control affect the performance of Bboxx Rwanda. The study used a descriptive research design to implement the research strategy. Both primary and secondary data was collected using a questionnaire and document review respectively. The descriptive research design with a mixed approach of qualitative and quantitative data were used to collect data by the use of questionnaire. The study participants comprised employees at the managerial level at the Bboxx Africa headquarter (HQ) office in Kigali, Rwanda with the sample size of 80 respondents selected using census method. The collected results were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis with the use of mean and standard deviation, and inferential statistics by the use of Pearson correlation (r) and multiple linear regression analysis. The results were presented in figures, tables, and narratives because the qualitative data were analyzed with the use of thematic analysis which require the study to present the qualitative results in the narrative. The study found that 43.0% of respondents agreed with Bboxx's vision, and a notable portion recognized the importance of SWOT analysis. While customer satisfaction had a minimal correlation, the SWOT analysis significantly influenced new product development. Resource allocation did not notably impact revenue growth but had a weak positive correlation with new product development. The organizational structure didn't drive growth or customer satisfaction, highlighting potential areas for improvement. Additionally, organizational culture and communication channels showed weak associations with their respective metrics, indicating a need for re-evaluation. The results suggest while some strategic elements are effective, others, especially in organizational structure and communication, require refinement. The study recommends that organizations adopt effective strategic management practices, especially as benchmarks evolve. Furthermore, the study emphasizes the importance of clearly presenting factors related to management, both to managerial and non-managerial staff. By doing so, employees can gain a better understanding of the management style in place, which can, in turn, guide their efforts towards realizing organizational goals. The study strongly recommends enhancing communication channels between managerial and non-managerial staff. This study used a descriptive research design. The study population was 410 staff of I&M Bank Rwanda (Plc) headquarter, a sample composed by 58 respondents and was selected by purposive sampling. Primary and secondary information was used. Information gathered by questionnaires and documentary review. Data were explored through SPSS. The study found that a significant majority (74.1%) of respondents confirmed the presence of on-site childcare facilities at the banks, though 25.9% disagreed. An overwhelming 84.5% believe there is a link between childcare services and motivation, and the same percentage perceive a relationship between childcare services and leadership quality. Turnover is also seen to be influenced by childcare services, with 89.7% recognizing a connection. Delving into the reasons for potential job departure, the study revealed that respondents would consider leaving their jobs due to factors such as wanting to feel valued (89.7%), seeking better management relationships (79.3%), desiring a different work environment (100%), and looking for more recognition (56.9%). In terms of work-life balance, 56.9% felt their job hinders progress in personal life, 20.7% saw household responsibilities as a challenge, and 22.4% believed both work and home responsibilities were barriers. Furthermore, the strong coefficient of correlation (R=0.894) suggests a significant positive relationship between the studied variables. This indicates that there is a positive and strong relationship between on-site childcare strategy adaptation and performance of female employees within I&M Bank (Rwanda) plc The study concludes respondents concurred that reducing turnover is a key factor in retaining the greatest skills and brains. The study recommends corporations should enhance their employee motivational frameworks in order to lower project difficulties and offer clothes on staffs that need it as they deliver crucial services. Drawing on data collected through case studies, interviews with urban planners, policymakers, and technology experts, as well as an extensive review of existing literature and policies, the research aimed to offer a comprehensive perspective on Singapore's journey towards becoming a Smart Nation. Significant findings revealed that the integration of technology into urban planning has led to transformative changes in multiple sectors including transportation, healthcare, and waste management. Investments in Internet of Things (IoT) sensors, data analytics platforms, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) have not only streamlined city operations but also substantially improved citizens' living conditions. For example, the study found that smart mobility solutions reduced traffic congestion by 35%, enhancing the overall productivity of the city. The article also delved into the socio-economic dimensions of these smart city initiatives. It highlighted that while the technology has contributed to a 20% increase in energy efficiency and reduced carbon emissions by 15%, there were challenges regarding data privacy and the digital divide. Additionally, the study found that smart city initiatives have actively promoted sustainable development, evident through programs like water recycling and vertical farming. Such projects have not only increased local food production by 10% but also substantially reduced the city's reliance on imports, thereby enhancing its resilience to external shocks. The article concluded that Singapore's focus on technology-driven urban planning has significantly improved the sustainability and quality of life in the city-state. However, it also stressed the importance of ongoing measures to address data security concerns and bridge the digital divide. The purpose of this research was to investigate the effectiveness of various resilience strategies adopted by American businesses and to derive insights that can inform future supply chain management practices. The problem addressed in this study was the increasing vulnerability of supply chains to disruptions, including natural disasters, global pandemics, and geopolitical tensions. These disruptions could result in significant economic losses and operational challenges for businesses. Understanding how U.S. companies tackled these challenges in the past provides valuable lessons for enhancing supply chain resilience. To achieve these objectives, a mixed-methods research approach was employed. Quantitative data were collected through surveys distributed to a diverse sample of U.S. companies across different industries. Qualitative data were obtained through in-depth interviews with supply chain and operations managers from a subset of these companies. The study analyzed historical cases of supply chain disruptions and the corresponding strategies used to mitigate their impact. Findings from this research indicate that U.S. companies employed a combination of strategies to enhance supply chain resilience, including diversifying suppliers, leveraging technology for real-time visibility, and implementing risk management frameworks. Companies that had robust business continuity plans in place were better equipped to respond to disruptions effectively. In conclusion, this study highlights the critical importance of proactive supply chain resilience strategies in mitigating the impact of disruptions. The lessons learned from past disruptions provide valuable insights for companies seeking to build more resilient supply chains in the future. Recommendations include the development and regular testing of robust business continuity plans, the adoption of digital technologies for enhanced visibility, and a proactive approach to risk management. By drawing from past experiences, U.S. companies can better prepare for and respond to future disruptions, ultimately ensuring the continuity of their operations and safeguarding their competitiveness in an ever-changing business landscape. Both the Controller of Budget's County Governments Annual Budget Implementation Review Reports and the annual Auditor General's Audit Reports have cited underperformance by most counties in these areas. However, a few counties have achieved remarkable results in the same areas with similar resources, raising the question of whether variations in the planning strategies used in different resource allocation processes can explain these performance differences. The purpose of this study was therefore to establish the influence of planning strategy on the performance of county governments in Kenya. This study was necessary to identify key county performance indicators as a means of allocating resources to ensure effective service delivery. The study was based on the Resource-Based Theory (View) and the McKinsey 7s Framework. It was conducted in Migori County, with the unit of analysis being 102 county government employees, including chief officers, directors, and heads of departments who are directly involved in the formulation, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of resource allocation strategies. Migori County was selected for the study because it is median in terms of performance and has similar characteristics to other counties. The study was conducted using a census survey with a descriptive research design. Data was collected using a questionnaire. A pilot test was conducted in Homa Bay County to test the reliability of the data collection instrument. Homa Bay County was selected because it has similar characteristics to Migori County. The quantitative data collected was presented in tables, frequencies, means, standard deviations, figures, and percentages. Pearson's Product Moment Coefficient was used to test the strength of the relationships. Inferential statistics were then applied using simple and multiple regressions to test the influence of the independent variables on the dependent variable. Despite decades of effort to address this issue, water sustainability remains elusive even today. Smart technologies have been widely adopted for water management, rendering smart water management a promising path to achieving water sustainability. Nevertheless, the efficacy of such smart water management in attaining sustainability remains unclear. This study aims to investigate the progress made in pursuing water sustainability with smart water management through a scientometric literature review. The Scopus database was employed to extract a pool of 460 candidate publications, which were then analyzed for content using bibliometric analysis and VOSviewer software. Nine clustered research themes were classified, corresponding to the nine targets of sustainable development goals (SDGs) for water. The findings show that engagement across these topics is highly unequal, providing substantial guidance on where emerging research efforts should be concentrated. The novelty of this study mainly lies in the SDG perspective that provides a significant but overlooked angle for observing progress in smart water management domain. The findings can enlighten the international water industry to create a more favorable environment for regions lagging in using smart technologies to facilitate overall water sustainability.","PeriodicalId":14424,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Strategic Property Management","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135387052","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"管理学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
