Fractures by accidents require serious management to prevent serious injuries. The improper first treatment of fracture victims can lead to death and disability. The causes of fractures in Indonesia include traffic accidents. The number of motorized vehicles in Indonesia is increasing by 119.560 cases every year which caused new problems, including security, safety, and traffic congestion. Online motorcycle taxis are alternative public transportation because they can reach places that are not passed by other public transportation. Online motorcycle taxis riders are people who are often on the road and often see even as victims of broken bones from traffic accidents, so there is a need for counseling and handling emergency conditions for motorcycle taxi drivers on the road. This community service activity aimed to increase the ojol drivers’ knowledge and ability in dealing with emergency fractures on the road using discussion methods. The activity was carried out on Thursday, July 16, 2020, carried out face-to-face in the Sukoharjo Regency pavilion, followed by a number of 20 participants. The result of this activity found an increase in the knowledge of ojol drivers by 40% with posttest results of 80% continued with splint dressing. The results of these activities were followed up by coordination with Gojek for greater community service.","PeriodicalId":142362,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Health Community Service","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117248617","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Community service activities are one of the efforts that can be taken to empower family members to carry out simple therapy in reducing anxiety. This community service will focus on the mother who has a big influence on managing the family. This community service aimed to educate the mother’s group to help their family in improving knowledge and skill of emergency psychiatric prevention. The main diabetes that often occurs in the community is type 1 and type 2 diabetes because of the influence of body insulin. Examination for detection is intended so that the public can find out about the presence of glucose in the urine so that the community can immediately recover faster, considering that if there is a glucose level in the urine, there is an increase in the level of glucose in the blood. The method used in this community service is to collect residents at the center, which is then carried out by examining the urine sample using a urine dysptic. Based on the results of examinations carried out on 62 people consisting of mothers and the elderly, it showed that there were 10 positive people or 19% of the total sample. This shows that early detection is important because there are still people who do not know the importance of early detection of disease in themselves, especially in the Kedung Pandan area.","PeriodicalId":142362,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Health Community Service","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124685250","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on the 2017 health profile in Mojokerto District, there are 117,309 elderly people. The Mojokerto district government has a health program for the elderly, namely the Elderly Health Service (Usila). Usila is a health service according to the standards in the elderly guidelines in a health facility in one work area and time period. Examination of the elderly programmed by the Mojokerto district government has been carried out at the Puskesmas that serves the elderly, but the elderly need more routine checks to monitor cholesterol levels. Another thing that is a problem is the relatively expensive cholesterol examination so that there are limitations in the self-examination by the community. Cholesterol examination methods for community service were using POCT and interviews related to health complaints from community service participants. There were 44 community service participants, not only from the elderly but from middle age. Of the 27 elderly, 10 elderly have normal cholesterol levels while 17 elderly have high and very high of cholesterol levels. Of the 17 middle age participants, 7 of them had normal cholesterol levels and 10 people had high and very high cholesterol levels. The interviews showed that almost all participants had health complaints that resembled complaints due to high cholesterol level. It is recommended to perform other health examination and not be limited to the elderly.","PeriodicalId":142362,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Health Community Service","volume":"88 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114411064","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Recommendations regarding the use of masks in the community, during home care, and in health care facilities in areas need to be mobilized massively. Current information indicates that the two main modes of transmission of the COVID-19 virus are respiratory droplets and contact. The use of masks has become a culture in life and daily activities so that the need for masks has increased. Therefore, it is necessary to have a stock of masks that are clean and of good type of cloth as prevention and first aid when doing activities outside the home. The condition of the residents in Penfui Village shows that not all are able to provide a large stock of masks for at least 1 house / small family. However, at the same time, pregnant women also feel anxious. Research conducted in Naples, Italy, March 15-April 1, 2020, shows that the Covid-19 pandemic has a severe psychological impact on 53% of pregnant women. During pregnancy, women may experience stress and anxiety, this can cause detrimental effects such as fetal death or fetal abnormalities. Antenatal Care is a pregnancy check that aims to improve the physical and mental health of pregnant women optimally so that they are able to face childbirth, childbirth, preparation for exclusive breastfeeding, and the return to reproductive health properly. The solution to this community service is to provide counselling about psychological changes in pregnant women and how to get pregnancy services during the Covid-19 pandemic, which in fact has changed a lot compared to before the Covid-10 pandemic, so it is hoped that it can reduce the anxiety faced by mothers during this period. pregnancy and still want to carry out pregnancy checks at a health worker or midwife accompanied by a health cadre, during which during the Covid-19 pandemic, pregnant women continue to carry out their pregnancy checks according to the minimum standard, which is 4 times during pregnancy. The implementation of this counselling activity is carried out for pregnant women and health cadres in Kertosari Village in a gradual period of time and does not leave the health protocol determined by the Government. The results obtained are the enthusiasm of pregnant women and health cadres who will accompany them during the process of pregnancy examinations.","PeriodicalId":142362,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Health Community Service","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134594609","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
