The current state of wind resource assessment studies is provided in order to find appropriate methodologies. The Weibull distribution is a two- or three-parameter distribution function by which the wind speed's frequency distribution can be fitted properly . This set of curves has been proven to fit wind speed readings extremely well. The Maximum likelihood method, the Modified maximum likelihood method, Error of approximation, Method of Moment and the Energy pattern factor method are all offered as methods for estimating the parameters of the Weibull wind speed distribution for wind energy analysis. A sample wind speed data set is used to demonstrate the use of each method, and statistical methods of analysis are used to compare the accuracy of each method. The research aids in identifying which method is most effective in finding Weibull distribution parameters and determining the wind energy resource. In grid-connected wind producing plants, wind power forecasting is crucial for demand-supply equilibrium. Many accurate and dependable weather forecasting models use a range of modern methodologies. It requires proper adoption of control techniques for supplying accurate temperature, pressure, steam, and water flow to produce chemicals. An uncontrolled boiler can shut down the whole process. Therefore it requires a continuous monitoring system for avoiding such shutdown. In the past few decades, relay logic, embedded or process card systems were used for controlling the boiler system. In the conventional system, the controlling scheme was also complex for troubleshooting because process cards are used only once. In order to overcome this type of problem Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) system helps to collect data and information about the flow of boiler from various sensors. In this paper, SCADA and PLC assist in controlling crucial parameters using Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) control. PID controller used in this paper is programmed according to the boiler operation's need, and the data can be stored and analyzed using the SCADA system. By the reason of its modest assembly & effective execution, DTC is used for AC as well as DC drive as associated to other monitoring structures. The presence of high ripple content in output torque for DTC scheme is only an obstacle. This article approaches extenuation of the ripples in torque by varying the predictable 5-level torque hysteresis controller used in DTC. The expansion of distinctive switching approach has been generated for chosen voltage vector. It invites large development in the production of electrical energy from renewable energy sources. It involves more evolving technologies. Out of all energy extraction from solar would be abundant. Photovoltaic (PV) are one such components helps in deriving large amounts of energy, this has become more easiest method due to its economic liabilities and the world has aimed its interest in developing the PV technology, which gives clean energy. This paper objective is to implement various Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithms, mainly Cuckoo Search Algorithm, fuzzy logic control (FLC) and conventional perturb and observe (P&O), incremental conductance (INC) on solar PV systems. These controlled MPPT algorithms helps in driving DC-DC boost converter, which helps to obtain maximum output from the PV Panels/cells/modules/Arrays. The obtained results are compared with each other under several operating conditions. The operating conditions include change in irradiance, change in temperature dynamically, and partial shading on PV panels. The implemented MPPT algorithms require only the PV array voltage and current to control DC-DC converter, which makes them economically feasible and attractive. The widely applied control strategies aimed at inverters are Sine Pulse Width Modulation (SPWM) and Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) strategies. In between these two PWM methods, the SVPWM strategy has excellent execution as compared to the SPWM strategy as a result of improved DC link voltage use as well as a decrease in Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) in output voltages. A traditional SVPWM strategy owns numerous weaknesses like computational complications in terms of identification of the reference voltage vector position, to identify sector, triangle and also it requires large memory for storing look up tables used for switching vectors. This paper presents, an innovative modified SVPWM strategy aimed at Cascaded H-Bridge Multilevel Inverter (CHBMLI). The novel modified SVPWM strategy has overwhelm the downsides of traditional SVPWM strategy. A seven-level CHBMLI is used for the implementation of this simplified SVPWM method to assess performance and as well to made comparison with the SPWM strategy. This paper deals with the allocation of distributed generations (DG) in radial as well as mesh distribution network (RDSm&MDSm, respectively). The allocation of DG is been done through a meta-heuristic technique known as Atom Search Optimisation. In the paper, the power loss is reduced, along with simultaneous improvement of voltage profile of the system. The proposed algorithm has been tested on IEEE 33 & 69 radial and weakly meshed system with 5 tie lines is considered for power loss minimisation using single and multiple DGs. Two power factors are considered for the simulation 0.8 lag and 0.9 pf lag. Two coupled quasi-shear waves are found to propagate due to the incompressibility of such materials. Applying appropriate boundary conditions at the plane interface, amplitude ratios of the reflected and transmitted quasi-shear waves are obtained. It has been observed that these ratios are functions of the angle of incidence, elastic and thermal parameters of the materials. These ratios are computed numerically for a particular model to see the effects of specific heat and thermal expansion on quasi-shear waves in incompressible transversely isotropic thermoelastic materials.
