Determinants of stock market development are studied under two different sets of variables in the literature: institutional structure and key macroeconomic variables. While the studies regarding the first provided rather consistent results, the studies regarding the second have not come to a well-accepted consensus, at least for the majority of the key macroeconomic variables. This study aims to find out post-crisis determinants of stock market development between 2009-2018 for 31 emerging markets, using generalized method of moments (GMM) technique in three separate models. The estimation results show that the exchange rate and financial development index have positive relation with market capitalization ratio along with the rule of law index as an institutional factor. Biodiesel is a product used as fuel which is produced through appropriate chemical / biochemical processes of oils derived from vegetable such as canola (rapeseed), sunflower, soy, etc. or animal fats. Biodiesel produced from vegetable oils and animal fats is different from petroleum based diesel in chemical structure; however, it is equivalent to petrol in function. It is possible to use biodiesel as pure or after blending it with petroleum based diesel in any kind of diesel engine, without any modifications on the engine or with some minor changes. Biodiesel has taken an important place in energy and agriculture policies as this kind of fuel not only contributes to different issues such as providing security of energy supply, maintaining agricultural development and struggling with global warming, but it also increases the vegetable oil production and enables recycling of vegetable oil wastes. The aim of this study is to examine the structure of biodiesel markets in the EU and Turkey and the relationship between fuel production and economic growth with panel data analysis, and to evaluate the effects of implemented policies.","PeriodicalId":140286,"journal":{"name":"BİLTÜRK Journal of Economics and Related Studies","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115480764","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study also compared owners’ assessment of the current status of their vehicles with the level of importance they assigned to the dimensions of vehicle quality. The sample consisted of 561 automobile owners. Data were collected using a questionnaire. Analysis revealed nine dimensions; reliability, user-friendliness, serviceability, performance, high-endness, aesthetics, perceived quality, comfort, and price. The gap between vehicle quality importance level and current vehicle status scores was greatest in the dimension “high-endness,” followed by serviceability, reliability, comfort, price, key features, user-friendliness, perceived quality, and “aesthetics.”","PeriodicalId":140286,"journal":{"name":"BİLTÜRK Journal of Economics and Related Studies","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133778938","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus, this study aims to broaden the issue in this field by examining the factors that influence the intention to repurchase Muslim students on halal-labeled foods. The perceived halal label, brand image, perceived product quality, and religious belief are hypothesized to influence the repurchase intention on halal food. This study uses a quantitative approach. The data used are primary data collected through the distribution of questionnaires to 194 students from four campuses in Sleman district, namely Universitas Islam Indonesia, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional \"Veteran\" Yogyakarta, Institut Pertanian \"stiper\" Yogyakarta, and Universitas Amikom Yogyakarta Data in this study were collected through survey methods. The total respondents collected were 194 students from four universities in Sleman, Yogyakarta. Data were processed using SPSS analysis tools with multiple linear regression techniques. This study’s results indicate that the perceived halal label and religious beliefs do not affect repurchase intention. Conversely, brand image, and perceived product quality affect student repurchase intentions. To cite this document: Farhan, F. & Rabbanib, J.A. (2021). These include regulations on food consumption according to Islamic teachings, known as halal concepts. Halal means it is allowed. Halal food means food that is allowed to be consumed according to Islamic teachings. Specific criteria must be met for food products to be declared halal. To guarantee the halal status of a product, the Indonesian government, through the Halal Product Guarantee Act, requires all food companies to put halal labels on their product packaging. A product is declared halal, if it has been through a series of tests in a laboratory, thus guaranteed halal objectively. Generally, previous research on halal-labeled food focused on factors that influenced the intention to buy halal food (Alam & Sayuti, 2011; Ali et al., 2018; Hayat M. Awan et al., 2015; Ishak et al., 2016; Mukhtar & Mohsin Butt, 2012). Research on factors that influence consumers' intention to repurchase halal food products is still limited in number, especially in the Indonesian context. Therefore, this study examines the factors that influence Mu","PeriodicalId":140286,"journal":{"name":"BİLTÜRK Journal of Economics and Related Studies","volume":"110 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134275232","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Secondary data was obtained from Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) statistical bulletin,(2018) and it covered from 1992-2018. Simple regression, correlation matrix and descriptive statistics were used to analyze the collected data. The descriptive statistics indicates that the mean capital injection into the agribusiness firms amounted to 39.3 million. The simple regression shows that money supply has a positive and significant relationship with the financial bailout of agribusiness firms. Correlation matrix shows that money supply has a close relationship with reserve requirement, interest rate, discount rate and exchange rate. The study concludes that the mean capital injection into agricultural sector is low, money supply have a positive and significant relationship with the financial bailout of agribusiness firms and the relevant macro-economic variables significantly have a close relationship with money supply. The study therefore recommends that Policy makers should develop policies that will stabilize the injection of capital into the agribusiness sector, and the stabilization of the relevant macro economic variables. This will further lead to the overall development of agricultural value chain in the Nigerian economy.","PeriodicalId":140286,"journal":{"name":"BİLTÜRK Journal of Economics and Related Studies","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-07-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129211310","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Because income distribution is affected by many macroeconomic variables and affects economies of the countries. According to the Stolper-Samuelson Theorem, which explains the effects of free foreign trade on income distribution, the trade liberalization process reveals a trend of equalization in income distribution. The main purpose of the current study is to test whether free trade yields a synchronized trend in the distribution of income for Turkey within the framework of the Stolper-Samuelson theorem. In this study, commercial openness and income distribution inequality relationship was analyzed using data for years 1987-2018 in Turkey by Toda-Yamamoto causality. As a result of the econometric analysis, it was found out that the determination of a one-way causality from the real commercial openness to the income distribution inequality does not reveal a tendency to equalization in the income distribution, as opposed to what is suggested in the Stolper-Samuelson Theorem.","PeriodicalId":140286,"journal":{"name":"BİLTÜRK Journal of Economics and Related Studies","volume":"153 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-07-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114632120","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
