The powertrain of the three-wheeler includes an internal combustion engine (ICE) driving the rear wheels and an electric motor driving the front wheel. The ICE is fueled with LPG-ethanol dual port injection. A microcontroller is set up connecting with the ECM of the original ICE for flexible adjustment of the ethanol/LPG ratio based on the gasoline injector control signal. The results show that the LPG-ethanol dual port injection forms a stratified octane number distribution at the end of the compression process. The relatively LPG-rich zone is found around the spark plug while the ethanol-rich zone is located near the cylinder wall. With the same throttle opening, when engine speed increases, to keep the equivalence ratio and ethanol/LPG rate unchanged, fuel injection time must be reduced. The reduction of the LPG injection time is, on average, faster than that of the ethanol injection time. A control system is designed for smooth combining use of the two power sources of the hybrid three-wheeler. In full load condition, the vehicle can run at maximum speed of 36 km/h in electric motor operating mode and 70 km/h in ICE mode. The vehicle acceleration time from 0 to 32 km/h is 40s.","PeriodicalId":13986,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Engineering Research and","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"77994695","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Agricultural governance (AGGOV) research studies the application of effective governance to facilitate growth and development of the agricultural sector. Despite advancements in both domains independently, little research are available at their interaction. This study applied the concept of DGov in support of AGGOV. We call this interaction Digital Agricultural Governance (DAGGOV). The paper first defines DGov by evaluating existing definitions in the domain. Then, it explores governance in the agricultural sector by adopting the six dimensions of World Bank’s governance assessment framework. Finally, the paper defines and proposes a conceptual framework for digital agricultural governance (DAGGOV). The main contribution of the paper is establishing a foundation for DAGGOV researches.","PeriodicalId":13986,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Engineering Research and","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"73577221","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Existence of form justifies the formation of space. Likewise, the shape also defines visual characteristics of building as well as it has a great influence on building energy demand. The thermal load of any building mostly depends upon climatic and physical parameters associated with the building itself. In this article, the comparison is done between thermal loads i.e. heating load and cooling load of hypothetical cuboid model with different A/V ratios. This research aims to search relation between the exposed envelope area to A/V ratios and their effect on energy demand. Through the findings of this research, it is expected that it could help to ease the doubt on choosing the efficient shape in this specific climate. Upon survey of households, it is found that electricity consumption in Itahari is higher in summer than in winter which is also reinforced from simulation results. This signifies the extreme need for a reduction in cooling load. Therefore, Using simulation-based correlational research strategy and inductive logic, this research indicates that a reduction in (AT-Ex/V) ratio is beneficial to reduce cooling energy demand in that given climatic and physical parameters. Findings conclude that (AT-Ex/V) ratio is directly proportional to energy demand in specific climatic conditions of Itahari, where (AT-Ex/V) is a total exposed envelope area including the base area of a building. Basically, changeover time has been identified as a major source for efficiency declines in production facilities as it drastically consumes time as well as other resources with no added value. Particularly, in small to medium sized manufacturing systems that rely on batch production in achieving the product variety that can cope with customer requirements, changeover time reduction is a key enabler for achieving the organization strategic objectives. This paper provides a review for the methodologies commonly employed for quick changeover. Besides, it highlights the case studies in literature that successfully employed such methodologies in changeover time reduction. Furthermore, a conceptual framework that provides a systematic and straightforward guide for identifying and improving changeover activities has been presented in this paper. The proposed framework is mainly based on the DMAIC (Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control) and DMADV (Define-Measure-Analyze-Design-Verify) six sigma methodologies. The framework adopted the DMAIC/DMADV as an integrated approach that can be customized to provide the essential roadmap for reducing changeover time.","PeriodicalId":13986,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Engineering Research and","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"84460477","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Indeed, there are various applications for thermal plants in industry, such as desalination, refrigeration and air heating. The optimization of the mirror surfaces design is basic to characterize the whole solar energy conversion system. In this paper the basic geometrical parameters a typical PTC are presented and the optical performances of this collector is studied basing on these parameters.","PeriodicalId":13986,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Engineering Research and","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"82636785","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
