Traditional video coding uses the block-based translation motion model for this purpose. This approach often fails for preserving the good quality of compression, if the motion discontinuities exist in the video frames. A Block that contains the boundary of moving object need more bit for better prediction of the current frame. In the presence of complex motion model the traditional method catastrophically fails to predict the objects having the multiple motion. In this paper, we present a technique for the classification of blocks either it contains the single motion or multiple motion. Experimental result shows that the average accuracy for classification of HD sequences is 85.76% and the achieved bit rebate is up to 1.083% over standalone HEVC.","PeriodicalId":138634,"journal":{"name":"2019 5th International Conference on Advances in Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"74 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121082399","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus, the number of active LNA stages of a receiver front-end should be adapted based on the interferer power on it such that the overall interference is less than a predefined threshold. In this paper, we propose orthogonal multiple access (OMA) and power-domain non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) based downlink cellular systems in which receiver frontends of the user equipment (UEs) consist of cascaded LNAs with adaptive stages. To improve energy efficiency (EE), we provide a methodology to adapt the number of active LNA stages of the UEs and control the BS transmit power levels for downlink transmissions. The EE of the proposed systems under the provided methodology is evaluated and compared with the EE of OMA and NOMA cellular systems with single stage LNA. We find that the EE of OMA and NOMA cellular systems can be improved significantly by adapting the number of active LNA stages of the receiver front-ends and the impact of adapting the active LNA stages in improving EE is more significant in a NOMA system than an OMA system.","PeriodicalId":138634,"journal":{"name":"2019 5th International Conference on Advances in Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115185974","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Visual inspection of encephalography (EEG) recorded by sensing devices is the common practice in detection of epilespsy.But, this approach requires long time inspection which is laborious and burden for a neurologist and in turns degrade the performances. Also, brain stimulation is an emerging technology for the diagnosis of many neurological problem such as epilepsy, dementia. The modern invention of electroencephalogram (EEG) signals recorder makes easy to interpret brain signals automatically for extraction of discriminating pattern of signals. So, automatic seizure detection by EEG recordings could replace the visual inspection. Therefore, this paper presents a model to detect epilepsy by recording EEG signals. The approach is based on signal processing in time frequency domain by multilevel Discrete Wavelet Transformation (DWT) and nonlinear Artificial Neural Network (ANN) model. Statistical features are considered to level the EEG signals. Then, the ANN model is trained, validated and tested. To validate the model, it is benchmarked on an epilepsy dataset recorded by the University of Bonn. By showing remarkable accuracy in predicting EEG signals of three classes such as normal, inter-ictal and ictal, the proposed model proves the prevalence. Also, the model is juxtapose with other models from the literature and shows higher accuracy.","PeriodicalId":138634,"journal":{"name":"2019 5th International Conference on Advances in Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131739179","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Majority of access control policy data are consist of numerous attributes that are simultaneously influenced by an assorted number of substances. For this nature, controlling the execution of access control rules with multiple dynamic attributes is relatively complex. However, the dynamic movements of these attributes might responsible for data inconsistency. To address this issue, several pieces of research have conducted and reveal the importance of fluent accessing and controlling of these complex rules that are comparatively challenging. In this paper, we show a set of scenario about the dynamic changing nature of logical attributes and its consequences. This system performed by constructing a decision tree for detecting and resolving the inconsistency of access control rules. The full process described through the proposed inconsistency detection and inconsistency resolve algorithm. Effectiveness of the proposed system has demonstrated through evaluation and comparison data which performed by considering a case study and comparing other well known existing access control system respectively.","PeriodicalId":138634,"journal":{"name":"2019 5th International Conference on Advances in Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116937118","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The quasi-ideal electronic properties of the nanoscale carbon nanotube enhance the performance of the field effect transistor due to its high carrier mobility and ballistic electrical transport. This study focuses on the performance parameters of the carbon nanotube field effect transistor (CNTFET) like on-state current, leakage current and the current ratio ($I_{ON}/I_{OFF}$) which strongly modulated by the temperature of the devices and dielectric constant of gate insulators. A comprehensive numerical quantum simulation model based on cubic spline approximation of non-equilibrium mobile charge density is developed to explore the dependency of temperature and dielectrics on electrical transport characteristics of a nanoscale Schottky barrier CNTFET under ballistic conditions. This comparative analysis demonstrates that high dielectric gate insulator enhances the charge carrier injection into transistor channels and degrading the leakage current. Furthermore, at low-temperature device attributes remarkably high on/off ratio due to dominant quantum tunneling mechanism and reduced short channel effects. High-speed CNTFET can be obtained by optimizing the $I_{ON}/I_{OFF}$ by the integration of materials with high dielectric constant and proper operating temperature.","PeriodicalId":138634,"journal":{"name":"2019 5th International Conference on Advances in Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114406912","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Steering vector error is an important factor for practical implementation of the beamformer and the outcome of the paper shows that the robust beamformer performs well at erroneous and error free condition. Rectangular array is essential for the modern space limited situation where the array can scan around 360 degrees and required less space for array elements positioning. The result of the technique is compared with other published loading technique applied to rectangular array.","PeriodicalId":138634,"journal":{"name":"2019 5th International Conference on Advances in Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117020821","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this article, attention is mainly focused on finding Riccati based optimal control for linear quadratic regulator problem subject to the time-invariant continuous-time linear system applying rational Krylov subspace method. A novel algorithm is proposed to solve very large Riccati equation by means of nested iterative techniques. Doctor Blade method was employed to prepare this film. X-Ray diffraction analysis was done to examine the structural properties of $mathrm {Z}mathrm {n}mathrm {O}$. This analysis has confirmed the hexagonal wurtzite structure of $mathrm {Z}mathrm {n}mathrm {O}.$ Williamson-Hall (W-H) and size-strain plot (SSP) method was employed to analyze the X-ray peak profile from which crystallite size and lattice strain can be obtained. It is confirmed that, owing to the doping of $mathrm {T}mathrm {i}mathrm {O}_{2}$ crystallite size of $mathrm {Z}mathrm {n}mathrm {O}$ nanoparticles decreased whereas lattice strain increased. Modified W-H models namely uniform deformation model (UDM), uniform stress deformation model (USDM), and uniform deformation energy density model (UDEDM) were employed to determine some other physical parameters. In this study, W got more appropriate values by using SSP method for $D$ and $varepsilon $ as the data is more close-fitting and accurately set with the linear adaptation.","PeriodicalId":138634,"journal":{"name":"2019 5th International Conference on Advances in Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123224017","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

SDN’s agile policy driven network supervision is vastly superior to that of the traditional network where users had to secure every new networking conjunctions with static policies and individual dependencies. But with SDN, now it is possible to operate the network within a centralized point where the control plane is right under the fingertips of the IT personnel. With the ever evolving scene of network security, implementing newer policies are easier than ever and can be employed in minutes if not in seconds. Therefore, SDN based firewalls are becoming the focal point of many tech giants because it is the cost-effective future of network security. Therefore the primary objective of this paper is to analyse the performance of two SDN controller based firewall modules with the use of POX and OpenDaylight (ODL) controllers and the basic throughput between these two controllers within a virtual network. While the former was developed by the original pioneers of SDN, the latter is the open source project of The Linux Foundation. In this project we have used the Beryllium version of the ODL. Then we have made comparisons between the two SDN based controller’s packet transmissions through TCP and UDP and compared the data transmission rate, lost packet datagrams for different time intervals.","PeriodicalId":138634,"journal":{"name":"2019 5th International Conference on Advances in Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"111 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123438247","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
