The structural studies of the polymer films are studied by XRay diffraction (XRD), Scanning electron microscope (SEM) and Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) techniques. The optical property is studied by recording UV-visible spectroscopy. The structural properties of polymer films characterized by X-ray diffraction measurements confirm the semi-crystalline nature of PEO which contains crystalline and amorphous regions. The SEM of PEO:Sr/CuO films exhibit characteristic patterns on the film surface.
