In this scenario, it is substantial to examine the impact of Covid-19 pandemic on the travel pattern of the Indians. At the same time, making public transports safe to prevent mass transmission of the Corona-virus is equally important to ensure safe-travel. The present study investigates the impact of COVID-19 on the travel behavior of the Indians, their readiness for availing public transports, as well as their stand on the reoperation of public transport. A total of 212 responses are collected through convenience sampling method for this purpose. The study reveals that COVID-19 pandemic has deeply affected the travel pattern of the Indians. The transport sector has been considered as one of the major causes of transmission of Corona-virus whereas;railway has been identified as the riskiest mode of transport. Though many Indians are ready to avail public transport, the majority still prefer private vehicles more than anything. The Indian respondents are also found doubtful regarding the effective implementation of rules and regulations, which is no doubt crucial for safe travelling. This study will provide useful understandings to the Indian transportation authorities as well as to the Tour Operators regarding the Indian travelers’ concern for transport sector amid COVID-19.","PeriodicalId":134158,"journal":{"name":"Afro Eurasian Studies","volume":"150 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130553954","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This realism which reflects in the mirror the existence of man in society never ceases to launch universal calls by informing sapiens-beings to analyze, criticize and, if necessary, to rebuild their society, even the values and the cosmic practices immanent in their landscape over time and history. Realism, which henceforth, in this company, can also be designat ed as “Approxism” is “a force that goes”, if you will, a force in movement. It is an aquilon that awakens man in the midst of his deep sleep, warning him to react against all the negations in the itinerary of his existence in the society in which he is an integral part. In this case, the man who exists must face upsetting novelties in the society where he exists. It is such a position that characterizes “socio - existential approxism” in African literature. This work allows us to make a critical and revolutionary investigation in the contemporary African novel.","PeriodicalId":134158,"journal":{"name":"Afro Eurasian Studies","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129094207","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Immediately after the Cold War Turkey followed a foreign policy within the trajectory Western Alliance, but Turkey developed a private concern Ottoman-remnant territory excluding this traditional foreign policy. This assertive and ambitious policy has been called as Neo-Ottomanism by academic circle influenced from the Western literature. As a part of this territory Africa continent has commonly shared culture, history and religion with Turkey. From this perspective, Turkey’s existence in Africa was perceived different form the colonialist and imperialist West in consequence of Turkish people establishing relations on the equal basis and mutual gain (win-win) principles. In this respect, this different stance of Turkey in Africa threaten the Western imperialism in continent.
