The aim of this research is to find out the language style that the teachers use in speaking and what the most dominant language style English Teachers use specially at AMIK Tunas Bangsa Pematangsiantar. The objects of the research is the teachers speaking during the presentating the seminar meeting. KY is a teenager who has a language disorder and is declared mentally retarded. Children with mental retardation acquire language skills in essentially the same way as non- mentally retarded children. Their rate of acquiring language skills was lower than that of non-mindset children of the same mental age. In the case of Kartini, Kartini was able to pronounce the sounds [a], [c], [d], [e], [g], [h], [i], [j], [k], [l], [s], [t], [u], and [y]. There are some consonants that cannot be pronounced if the consonants are at the beginning, in the middle and at the end. For vocals [u] Kartini can pronounce it but it is not perfect. The tongue is located between the oral cavity under the palate. For consonant [i] Kartini sometimes changes it to vowel [e]. Consonants [b], [d], [m],[t] are sometimes missing. For the consonant [n] which is located at the end of the word, Kartini changes it to the sound [ŋ]. However, for the consonant [n] which is located in the middle of the word Kartini omitted it. For consonant [s] Kartini undergoes obliteration and replacement. The analysis began with the kind of Greek mythology elements that exist in the poem. The following section analyzed the archetypes found in the poem, which examined based on the six phases that Frye has distinguished on Archetypal Criticism; Theory of Mythos that consists of four seasonal cycles of nature. This research used qualitative methodology. The sources were taken from various journals, books, and other library resources. The data of this research were taken from utterance of traders and buyers in Traditional Market. This research used qualitative method and the sociolinguistics approach to analyzed the data. To get the result of this research requires several steps, the steps are observation the location,identifying the jargon, clssifiyng the form of jargon and function of  jargon, and the last dominat form of jargon. The result of this research were found(3) Acronym, ( 2 ) Abbreviation, (16) Word, (2) Code, and (4) foreign language and the function of jargon classified 4 functions a) as a suggestion of getting acquainted or bonding (b) means of producing certain information (c) for buying and selling or transaction (d) a means to show membership of social identity. The researcher used observation sheet and interview sheet as the instrument to get the valid data. Based on the result, word form was the most frequent that occurred in their communication. The buying and selling for transaction were the most frequent that occurred among group members. The instrument for collecting the data was recording. The data analysis could be concluded that the types of code mixing in this research were insertion of word, insertion of phrase and insertion of sentence. Masalah penelitian ini adalah makna yang yang bagaimana yang terdapat dalam kalimat ~hoshii dan ~tai. Penelitian  ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui makna ~hoshii dan ~tai pada tugas mahasiswa Bahasa Jepang Universitas Harapan Medan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tugas para mahasiswa tingkat 2 dan 3 jurusan Bahasa Jepang Universitas Harapan Medan. Hoshii adalah verba bantu yang menyatakan pengharapan atau keinginan orang pertama atau pembicara yang digunakan untuk menyatakan pengharapan atau keinginan terhadap sesuatu. ~Tai adalah jenis verba bantu yang dipakai untuk menyatakan keinginan atau harapan pembicara, lawan bicara, dan orang yang dibicarakan. Hasil yang telah ditemukan dalam penelitian ini adalah bahwa dalam kalimat yang berisi tentang ~hoshii, para mahasiswa lebih mengutamakan sebuah benda. Ada yang ingin memiliki laptop baru,  ingin memiliki rumah baru, ingin memiliki TV baru, ingin mobil dan lain-lain. Sedangkan kalimat yang berisi tentang ~tai, para mahasiswa lebih ke bentuk tindakan atau aktifitas. This analysis aims to explain the interrelatedness among genre analysis of Indonesian business e-mails written by Minangkabau and Javanese Speakers. The method used descriptive qualitative. The information was obtained from ten business e-mails written by Minangkabau (five business e-mails) and Javanese Speaker (five business e-mails) and analyzed those supported 2 major stages, namely: macro-level and micro-level analysis consistent with Santos (2002). The results obtained from this analysis were Minangkabau speaker had additional complete structure than Javanese speaker. Because, in business e-mails written by Minangkabau had additional complete in move than Javanese speakers. Lubis","doi":"10.35447/vernacular.v1ii.130","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.35447/vernacular.v1ii.130","url":null,"abstract":"Pada dasarnya masyarakat Angkola sangat menjunjung tinggi adat pada setiap kali ingin melaksanakan hajatan atau acara adat, di mana apabila ada salah satu dari warga yang ingin melaksanakan horja atau pesta dalam hal ini adalah Suhut, maka seluruh anggota keluarga akan bermusyawarah kepada para pataya-pataya adat atau ketua adat untuk menyampaikan keinginan atau keluhan untuk meminta bantuan kepada ketua adat tersebut agar kiranya disampaikan kepada para warga sekampung. Dalam hal ini, martahi karejo merupakan acara adat yang dilakukan sebelum prosesi upacara perkawinan pada masyarakat Angkola yang dimulai dari musyawarah seperti yang sudah dianalisis di atasyakni berbicara dalam bertutur sapa yang sangat khusus dan unik, antara barisan yang terdapat dalamdalian na tolu yaitu Kahanggi, Anak Boru dan Mora. Konteks situasi yang terlihat pada teks hobar pada tradisi martahi karejo yaitu medan wacana yang terdiri dari Hata ni Suhut, Hata ni Kahanggi, Hata ni Hombar Suhut, Hata ni Anak Boru, Hata ni Pisang raut, Hata ni mora, Hata mangalusi ni Hatobangon, Hata pangalusi ni Harajaon, Hata pangalusi ni orang kaya, Hata pangalusi ni Raja, dan Hatani Pasahat Burangir Taon-Taon. Sementara itu, yang dikategorikan sebagai pelibat wacana dari teks hobar pada tradisi martahi karejo adalah Suhut Si Habolonan, Kahanggi, Anak Boru, Pisang Raut, Na Mora , Hatobangon, Hatarajaon, OrangKaya, dan Raja Pasunan Bulung. Sedangkan yang dikategorikan sebagai sarana wacana dari teks hobar pada tradisi martahi karejo adalah pesan disampaikan secara lisan yaitu dengan cara monolog, berpidato dan berpantun. Makna perangkat adat yang mempunyai arti luas dan mempunyai filsafat bagi masyarakat Angkola khususnya, yakni (1) burangir (sirih), (2) gambir, (3) soda, (4) pining (pinang), (5) timbako (tembakau), (6) pinggan (piring), (7) abit (kain), dan (8) hadangan. Bahasa Indonesia as a language of unity is used in activities to communicate by the wearer community from various tribes and regions. As an effective means of communication the Bahasa Indonesia has an important role in developing and launching various aspects of life and culture. This research uses the method of literature writing (library research). To know the language activities of a person does not merely use the language as communication, but rather describes other aspects outside the linguistic aspect. These aspects may affect the style, dialect, variety, form language it uses and show the user a separate language item that is closely related  to the language (social class, ethnic group, nationality and geographical location of the linguist). Linguistically different but still not mentioned as a different language.
