Kepok banana heart contains dyes and produces anthocyanins which are used as a safe food coloring. The purpose of this study was to determine that the leaf extract of the Kepok banana heart can be formulated as a hair dye and to determine the concentration of the banana flower extract that produces the best color. Kepok banana flower petals were extracted by maceration method using 96% ethanol, then concentrated to obtain Kepok banana flower petals extract. Hair dye preparations were made with a formula consisting of Kepok banana flower petals extract with various concentrations, namely: 2.5%, 5%, 7.5% and 10%. Staining is done by soaking for 1-4 hours. Observation of color stability was carried out by means of a stability test against 15 washings and exposure to the sun for 5 hours on colored hair, and a biological test (irritation). This study showed that the formula made with the extract of the petals of the Kepok banana heart can give a black color. The best staining was obtained from formula C, namely the extract of the petals of the banana heart of the Kepok banana with a concentration of 7.5% which produced a dark black color. The stability test for 15 washes and the stability test against the sunlight for 5 hours showed that there was no discoloration and no irritation to the skin. Tanaman Buah Pepaya (Carica papaya L.) memiliki kandungan antrakuinon, saponin, lignin, glikosida dan tanin. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memformulasikan dan uji efektifitas sari buah pepaya pada konsentrasi 1%, 5% dan 9% pada sediaan pelembab bibir. Evaluasi sediaan pelembab bibir yaitu uji homogenitas, uji stabilitas, uji oles, uji daya sebar, uji daya lekat. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah bersifat eksperimental. Dari hasil penelitian dan pengujian yang telah dilakukan peneliti didapatkan hasil parameter uji daya lekat adalah (Blanko) 1 menit 10 detik, (F1) 1 menit 02 detik, (F2) 57,66 detik, dan (F3) 44,33 detik. Hasil dari pengujian parameter daya sebar memiliki rata-rata 4 cm, 5 cm, 6 cm dan 6 cm. Lip balm yang diformulasi dalam penelitian ini tidak melalui uji iritasi dikarenakan pandemic virus corona yang membuat peneliti tidak bisa menggunakan sukarelawan manusia. Noni is efficacious as an immune enhancer, normalizes blood pressure, anti-cancer, analgesic, diabetes mellitus, heart disease, stroke, antimicrobial. To know the characteristics of simplicia and the class of compounds from the noni fruit as well as to analyze the flavonoid compounds contained in the noni fruit using the thin layer chromatography method. The flavonoid compounds were extracted by maceration using ethanol solvent and then the ethanol extract was tested by thin-layer chromatography using 1% HCl mobile phase and spotting with 1 N H2SO4 reagent and methanol pa (1: 1% v/v). Result of simplicia characterization of fruit Noni, obtained 1.32% water content, 38.41 % water soluble extract content, 16.7% ethanol soluble extract content, 6.09% total ash content, and 0.45 acid insoluble ash content. %. Noni fruit simplicia contains chemical compounds of alkaloids, tannins, flavonoids, triterpenoids/steroids, anthraquinones, saponins with phytochemical screening tests. The value of Rf from the analysis of noni fruit flavonoid compounds using the Thin Layer Chromatography method with 3 repetitions is 0.75; 0.68 and 0.62. Mangkukan plant contains flavonoid compounds, alkaloids, saponins, polyphenols, fats. This study aimed to determine the antibacterial activity of the ethanol extract of the leaves of the Mangkokan (Polyscias Scutellaria) against Propionibacterium acnes bacteria. The tests were carried out through the stages of collecting materials, preparing simplicia, making an ethanolic extract of Mangkukan leaves, and testing the inhibitory power of basil leaves against Propionibacterium acnes bacteria. The manufacture of ethanolic extract of the leaves of the Mangkokan was carried out by the maceration method using 96% ethanol. Antibacterial activity testing was carried out using the agar diffusion method using disc paper. The results of the study based on the results of phytochemical screening showed that the simplicia and ethanol extract of the Mangkukan leaf contained alkaloids, flavonoids, glycosides, tannins, saponins, steroids/triterpenes. Meanwhile, the results of the antibacterial activity test of the ethanolic extract of the Mangkokan leaf have antibacterial properties against Propionibacterium acnes at extract concentrations of 30% (6.74 mm), .35% (6.84 mm), 40% (7.26 mm), 45% (7.32 mm), 50% (8.68 mm) with medium resistance zone. The positive control used 30 g chloramphenicol disc paper with an inhibition zone diameter of 21.89 and the negative control used 10% DMSO solution which had no inhibition zone. Several studies have reported that the flavonoid compounds contained in the genus Artocarpus have cytotoxic, antiproliferative, antimalarial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties. The purpose of this study was to determine the inhibitory activity of the protease enzyme 6LU7 of the SARS-COV-2 virus by flavonoid compounds from plants of the genus Artocarpus using the in-silico tethering method. The method used in the in-silico tethering process is carried out using the PLANTS program, validated using the Yasara program, and visualized using the Moe2008 program. The protein model of the 6LU7 Protease Enzyme was downloaded via the Protein Data Bank (PDB) with the code 6LU7. The results of this study indicate that the binding of flavonoid compounds from the genus Artocarpus to the expression of 6LU7 gives valid results in silico. The flavonoid compounds of the Artocarpus genus inhibited the 6LU7 enzyme protein with a higher docking value than each of the comparison drugs and produced 7 amino acid residues that were bound to each other. G. Forster) is one of the plants that can be used for traditional medicine. Based on several studies, it is stated that the ethanolic extract of matoa leaves has good antioxidant activity. This study aims to determine the antioxidant activity of gel preparations from the ethanolic extract of matoa (Pometia pinnata) leaves. Matoa leaf extract (Pometia pinnata) was prepared using maceration method with 96% ethanol as solvent. Then the extract was formulated into a gel with 4 formulations, namely F0 (no matoa leaf extract), FI (with 0.1% matoa leaf ethanol extract), FII (with 0.3% matoa leaf extract), FIII (with ethanol leaf matoa by 0.5%). Furthermore, the antioxidant activity test was carried out on the gel samples using the DPPH method (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl) spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 515 nm. The results of the antioxidant activity test showed that the percentage of inhibition of the 96% ethanol extract of matoa leaf (Pometia pinnata) was F0 40.34%, FI 55.187%, FII 61.703%, FIII 27.969%, and the percentage inhibition of vitamin C was 178.947%.
