In the laboratory, 5 treatments were studied [T1 = Serenade ASO (2‰), T2 = EM-1 (5‰), T3 = EM-1 (10‰), T4 = Silvacur Combi 30 EC (2.0‰) and T5 = Control (without fungicide)]. Serenade ASO, is a biological fungicide that contains the Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain QST 713 and for the use of EM-1, the product was activated following a previously established protocol. For the in vitro test, the “Poisoned food technique” was used, an incubation temperature of 25 ºC was used and the radial growth of the pathogen was measured at 2, 5, 7 and 9 days after sowing. The biological fungicide, Serenade ASO (2‰), completely inhibited the mycelial growth of C. gloeosporioides , the effect was similar to that of the conventional fungicide Silvar combi (2‰), that is, both had an efficacy of 100%. EM-1 (10‰), had an efficiency of 89%, allowing a medium to high growth of the fungus. Serenade ASO and EM-1 were shown as alternative products to conventional fungicides for the control of “anthracnose” in pitaya.","PeriodicalId":13209,"journal":{"name":"Idesia (Arica)","volume":"12 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75903590","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The objective of the experiment was to estimate the evapotranspiration of the olive cultivation by means of the METRIC model, from multispectral and thermal images taken from an RPAS, after vicarious calibration with different types of bodies in the field and using spectroradiometer and portable radiometer. Mean values for ETc were obtained between 2.86 and 2.94 mm d –1 , 4.02 mm d –1 in winter (flowering) and 4.53 mm d –1 in summer (fruiting); and ETrF values, in the range of 0.88 to 1.67 and 0.92 to 1.42 mm d –1 for winter and summer respectively, with significant differences by season. Values above 1.0, with greater variability and slightly higher in winter, due to daily irrigation management throughout the year, to avoid abiotic stresses due to soil salinity.","PeriodicalId":13209,"journal":{"name":"Idesia (Arica)","volume":"2 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"76919895","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is a poorly studied species, and its phenological changes in response to different abiotic factors, including temperature and water availability, are unknown. This study aims to describe the different phenological phases and their relationship with some environmental factors including fog, precipitation, temperature, and humidity. This study was developed in a hyper-arid environment of the southern coast of Peru. We evaluated the fog water available using fog collectors (neblinometers) installed next to each cushion of T. purpurea , and also monitored the microclimate conditions at ground level with temperature and humidity sensors. Additionally, phenophases (inflorescence, flowering, fructification, dehiscence, and vegetative stage) were evaluated within ten cushions of T. purpurea for a period of eleven months. As for water availability, the average fog water collected by the fog collectors was 5.11 L•0.25m 2 month –1 and the accumulated precipitation was 35.8 mm. In the microclimate, the mean temperature was 18.4ºC and humidity was 62.5%, and seasonality was observed in the evaluated variables. The T. purpurea phenological phases recorded showed a certain synchrony with some microclimate variables and water availability. The vegetative and dehiscence stages were associated with lower-frequency months, fog volumes, and also with less-warm periods Moreover, the phenophases of inflorescence, flowering, and fructification occurred in the months with higher water availability from fog, precipitation, and associated with warmer periods; in the specific case of fructification, it was more associated with periods of maximum or medium relative humidity.","PeriodicalId":13209,"journal":{"name":"Idesia (Arica)","volume":"266 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74917409","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
