Web services, main enabler for SOA, usually have characteristics distinguished from general stand-alone software. They are provided in different ownership domain by network. They can also adopt various binding mechanism and be loosely-coupled, platform independent, and use standard protocols. As a result, a web service system requires its own quality factors unlike installation-based software. For instance, as the quality of web services can be altered in real-time according to the change of the service provider, considering real-time property of web services is very meaningful in describing the web services quality. This paper focuses especially to the two quality factors: business value and service level measurement, affecting real world business activities and a service performance.","PeriodicalId":131337,"journal":{"name":"5th International Conference on Computer Sciences and Convergence Information Technology","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-11-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132512864","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This SF code is constructed from a threaded algebraic layering concept. It combines the space-frequency layering concept with algebraic component codes where each component code is assigned to a “thread” and interleaved over space and frequency. It is proved that the proposed multiuser SF codes for multiple input multiple output (MIMO) frequency selective fading multiple access channel (MAC) achieve high symbol rate (rate>1) and full-diversity. The proposed SF code ensures the high data rate as it does not require zero-padding.","PeriodicalId":131337,"journal":{"name":"5th International Conference on Computer Sciences and Convergence Information Technology","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123074413","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

According to this service, people are able to travel to anywhere and any places in Bangkok. This leads to the increasing of bus routes which causes confusion to bus users. Although, at present, many routing information systems have been implemented but none of them could offer travel-time approximation. As a consequence of the shortages of such significant information, the current bus information services cannot fulfill users need. Thus, this paper proposed a system, Bus Information System -BIS, that can provide valuable bus information which is not only bus routes, but also how-to travel, position of the buses, and bus travel-time approximation to passengers.","PeriodicalId":131337,"journal":{"name":"5th International Conference on Computer Sciences and Convergence Information Technology","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121353195","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Secure communication in wireless sensor networks (WSNs) is one of the important issues, especially, when WSN comes to ubiquitous healthcare, where security is main requirement in sensor devices, communication and continuous real-time monitoring of patient in hospital or home network. WSN requires efficient and automated secure communication between distributed applications running upon them. Existing middleware approaches to secure communication cannot satisfy the advanced requirement in wireless sensor network. In this paper we proposed a secure progressive middleware which certainly enhance the quality of data transfer, provides secure communication and also improve the quality of service with several modules. This middleware composed on different medical sensors (tri-axial accelerometer, ECG and temperature) and healthcare application module In addition, to protect critical sensor data from unauthorized access has been considered one of the basic goal of this middleware which is achieved by implementing a PingPong-128 stream cipher algorithm in data communication from sensor devices to application modules. With this prototype a secure middleware is presented and implemented in this paper with several other measurements such as performance, portability, scalability and security.","PeriodicalId":131337,"journal":{"name":"5th International Conference on Computer Sciences and Convergence Information Technology","volume":"643 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116085595","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Previous color researches suggested that high contrast may be useful for nominal information coding in information design. However, empirical studies on its impacts on the graph-reader's perception towards usefulness of the multiple line graph have been rarely examined. This study conducted an experiment to evaluate graphs using two different color combinations. The participants perceived the high luminance contrast Red-Green-Blue graph is more useful than the low luminance contrast Orange-Green-Cyan graph for complicated tasks using multiple lines. There was no difference of perceived usefulness across simple tasks including using a single line. Despite of the results, participants' actual task completion time shows there is no difference in terms of graph reading complexity between the two different color contrast groups.","PeriodicalId":131337,"journal":{"name":"5th International Conference on Computer Sciences and Convergence Information Technology","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122493205","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We firstly divide the sensing area into several small regions according to the density of unknown nodes. Then, the beacon nodes are distributed within the sensing area in a reasonable manner, based on DV-HOP algorithm and combined with RSSI. The measured errors of estimated location in beacon nodes are considered as the adjusted values and broadcasted to the adjacent nodes. Based on the broadcasted adjusted values, the unknown nodes adjust their relative information of position. Simulation results demonstrate that the accuracy of node localization is greatly increased with the proposed algorithm.","PeriodicalId":131337,"journal":{"name":"5th International Conference on Computer Sciences and Convergence Information Technology","volume":"57 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122076697","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
