In earlier research, our team proposed a satellite navigation and communication integrated technology based on spread spectrum broadband signals. The technology can significantly increase the GNSS satellite downlink broadcast rate while ensuring downward compatibility. This paper summarizes the technology and its technical system. The proposed broadcast signal consists of the navigation signal and communication signal. The navigation signal part is precisely the same as the existing GNSS signal and provides the synchronous service for the communication signal based on the original positioning service. Cyclic Code Shift Keying (CCSK) modulation is used for the communication signal. PN codes in the same family as the navigation signal are used for the spread spectrum. The communication and navigation signals are in the same frequency and phase on radio frequency and synchronized on the baseband. In order to avoid the degradation of detection performance and error performance caused by cross-correlation interference between navigation and communication signals, the code phase optimization algorithm is introduced to turn the cross-correlation function into a favorable condition and enhance the detection performance of the pilot channel and communication channel. Because of the discontinuity of the code phase set, the receiver of the signal can use the fuzzy decision algorithm to improve the fault tolerance of the system to phase jitter and synchronization deviation. Because the proposed signal system transmits information by adjusting the signal delay, the signal is susceptible to the multipath effect. To solve this problem, we design the master-slave Rake receiver strategy by taking advantage of the characteristics of the pilot and communication signal in the same frequency and phase. The Rake receiver parameters are determined through the pilot channel and applied to the communication channel. This method has little change to the receiver and can effectively compensate for the multipath effect. It does not need to occupy more frequency points in the spectrum resources and has good compatibility, which is conducive to promoting and utilizing existing GNSS equipment.","PeriodicalId":13080,"journal":{"name":"IEEE international Symposium on Broadband Multimedia Systems and Broadcasting","volume":"84 1","pages":"1-5"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83891726","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

While the conventional TM method has demonstrated itself as a potentially effective coding tool for plenoptic video, it suffers from a huge time complexity of TM search at both encoder and decoder. In this paper, we note correlation among matching pixels arising from the microlens array structure of plenoptic camera, and propose an adaptive search range (ASR) exploiting relationship between the two sizes of prediction unit and microlens. The experimental results show that our method can reduce encoding time by about 88% and 73% compared to the conventional TM method in the AI-Main and RA-Main conditions, respectively, with acceptable coding loss.","PeriodicalId":13080,"journal":{"name":"IEEE international Symposium on Broadband Multimedia Systems and Broadcasting","volume":"102 1","pages":"1-5"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86028106","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Driven by the low-latency requirement, mobile edge computing has become an important technology for enhancing user experience and reducing network costs. However, the computing power of the single-processor CPU is limited, it is difficult to meet the low-latency requirements of computation-intensive applications. Besides, the performance of the network is limited by cell interference. In this paper, we design a user-centric Cell-Free Heterogeneous Mobile Edge Computing (CF-HetMEC) network architecture, which comprehensively utilizes the computing and transmission resources of multi-heterogeneous processors of Central Processing Units. A category-based Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAGs) subtask offloading algorithm in CF-HetMEC network is proposed to reduce the system delay. In this paper, we propose a new CM scheme, namely the globally coupled (GC) low-density parity check (LDPC) CM where we choose GC-LDPC code as the FEC code and regular rectangular quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) as the high order modulation. To guarantee the code with at least grith 8, the greatest common division-based method is used to constructe the GC-LDPC code. Simulation results show that, although the GC-LDPC code has poor performance under QPSK modulation compared with the LDPC code defined in 5G (5G-LDPC), the proposed GC-LDPC CM outperforms 5G-LPDC CM under 64QAM modulation about 0.5dB. The EXIT charts also theoretically demonstrate the GC-LDPC code the significant gain. Considering other advantages of GC-LDPC such as flexible rate design, parallel decoding and etc., the proposed GC-LDPC CM is attractive to multimedia communication systems which generally requires high spectral efficiency.","PeriodicalId":13080,"journal":{"name":"IEEE international Symposium on Broadband Multimedia Systems and Broadcasting","volume":"15 1","pages":"1-6"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74564382","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Current mobile communication networks only use external data service nodes, and the sensing of data is based on consumer subscription, which cannot meet the data service requirements of 6G networks. We propose a data service network architecture for mobile communication networks that supports intelligent collaboration of distributed data service nodes; transforms reactive subscription mode into proactive sensing mode with the assistance of AI/ML analysis; enhances data sensing, processing and storage mechanisms through the flexible use of data rules and knowledge, thus effectively improving the overall data service capability; further, with this architecture, possible solutions are discussed in detail with emphasis on data sensing difficulties.","PeriodicalId":13080,"journal":{"name":"IEEE international Symposium on Broadband Multimedia Systems and Broadcasting","volume":"27 1","pages":"1-6"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74298062","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
