RS codes exhibits high error correction capability as compared with other error correction codes. Encoding is the process of adding parity bits to the input messages. The input message and parity bit together form the codeword. The input of the decoder can contain errors. In decoding, the original message is retrieved by applying different algorithms to the codeword. This paper uses LFSR for encoding and the Peterson Gorenstein Zierler algorithm for decoding. This work is aimed at execution of RS codes using different technologies. The Reed Solomon encoding and decoding is done using Octave, Vivado, Cadence tools. The data is tested for a single error and two errors. The system is implemented and synthesized in Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) and Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA). Timing analysis has been done and GDSII file has been generated.","PeriodicalId":130581,"journal":{"name":"2020 Fourth International Conference on Computing Methodologies and Communication (ICCMC)","volume":"99 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121302870","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These traditional fixed traffic light controllers have certain constraints and are less effective on the grounds that they utilize an equipment, which have capacities as indicated by the program that comes up with limitations of the inconsistent adaptability of adjustments. Along these lines, due to the fixed time interims of green and red signs, there is overabundance average waiting time and superfluous holding up time on lanes, due to which vehicles tend to devour more fuel. This in the long run indicates the ecological contamination and makes a few medical related problems among the individuals on street and living close by, as they tend to inhale the impure air. Likewise, these customary traffic light control frameworks do not have any advancements or arrangements to give any data on traffic densities on different streets, which prompt traffic clogs. Consequently, to make the traffic light scheme control and traffic guideline progressively productive, the proposed work makes use of the development of a novel strategy called as Adaptive Traffic Light Control System, modelled with highly proficient framework. The proposed framework utilizes a complete system of cluster of sensors for detecting the traffic with priority based traffic management. On positioning this effectively detected traffic, the planning interims of red and green light signals across the streets are cleverly chosen and changed in order to keep the holding up time least. In this way, enhancement of the traffic light with periodically exchanges, builds the street limit, spares time for voyaging and forestalls traffic blockages. The traffic related details are intermittently updated to the multi-cloud environment. The model is assessed by means of rebuilding in the Simulation of Urban Mobility framework (SUMO) in a vehicular system using Reinforced Decision Process (RDP), and the reenactment results show the significantly improved efficiency of the model in controlling and regulating the traffic with dynamic and self-adaptive management.","PeriodicalId":130581,"journal":{"name":"2020 Fourth International Conference on Computing Methodologies and Communication (ICCMC)","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131587367","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Identifying the emotion being conveyed by facial expressions is a well-studied area as is the processing of formal hand gestures (mudras, semaphores, sign language etc..) as a means of communication. Our study focuses on two observations:(1) hand gestures, which have no reference to any formal system, can convey meanings even without accompanying facial expressions and (2) facial expressions and ‘informal’ hand gestures can nontrivially combine to convey messages with altogether new meanings. We present visuals to illustrate these observations. Experimentally, we present an image classification algorithm using Convolutional Neural Networks and TensorFlow library and OpenCV technology; with suitable datasets, we were able to train our system to recognize emotions conveyed by a limited set of hand gestures with no support from facial expressions (observation 1 above). We also indicate how the work ought to be extended to handle cases where hand gestures and facial expressions combine to convey interesting emotional signals.","PeriodicalId":130581,"journal":{"name":"2020 Fourth International Conference on Computing Methodologies and Communication (ICCMC)","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127566485","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Techniques such as using a substrate with high dielectric constant, introducing shorting pin and slot are integrated. The combined results of those techniques were studied and analyzed to arrive at the optimal antenna that is resonating properly in Med Radio band at the frequency of 404 MHz with the gain of -33 dB. The resonant frequency of antenna with shorting pin is also verified theoretically using formulas. Impact of surface current in creating the slot, for an antenna with shorting pin is also studied and presented. The proposed work has developed a programmed machine-based tumor recognition from MRI images. This work describes another strategy for the detection of tumors from patients’ brain MRI images by examining images using the multi-level otsu thresholding (MLOT) method. In this work, MRI of test patients and MRIs of the normal human brain compared using principal components and based on the differences measured, the tumor detection will be done. The normal human brain MRI's taken from CC-BY-SA standard SRI24 multichannel atlas of normal adult human brain structure. The proposed method incorporates with noise removal using discrete wave transform (DWT) filter and MRI Image preprocessing includes modified multi-level otsu thresholding (MLOT) and morphological operations like erosion and dilation and last step a cross-correlation of principal components based tumor classification performed.
