The PVA-based nanocomposites are generated by an optimized synthetic route, in which the chemical crosslinking of PVA with maleic anhydride is realized in the presence of dispersed graphene platelets. The PANI-based nanocomposites are obtained starting from aniline monomer by an “in situ” polymerization process carried out in a dispersion of purified nanodiamonds. A preliminary calculated dispersion curves for studied material allowed to identify the types of waves generated in the plate under consideration. The complex dependencies of the generated wave’s directivity on the excitation frequency were established. The review first introduced the importance of modelling fatigue in respect of the residual strength degradation of the studied materials, before classifying fatigue models between two categories: the phenomenological models and the mechanistic ones. Among the fatigue modelling approaches, one of them belonging to the category of the “residual strength models” is considered and deepened. In particular, it is analyzed from its genesis to the latest outcomes, passing through the different goals gained during the years.","PeriodicalId":130539,"journal":{"name":"THE 9TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS OF ADVANCED MATERIALS - ICSAAM 2019","volume":"64 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126503966","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
