Changes in intestinal microbial composition promoted carcinogenesis and cancer development. Specific intestinal microorganisms and their metabolites regulated host physiological functions and tumor microenvironment and significantly affected the anti-tumor treatment response and its adverse effects. Gut microbiome-based strategies have shown promising prospects in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, and many novel intestinal microbiological manipulation strategies have emerged. At the same time, there were many challenges in transforming intestinal microecology research into clinical practice.\u0000\u0000Key words: Gut microbiome; tumor microbiome; tumor microenvironment; immunotherapy.","PeriodicalId":130394,"journal":{"name":"Global Journal of Microbiology","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132581990","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The control group was received routine chemotherapy, and the experimental group was taking Sijunzi Decoction based on routine chemotherapy. 16S RNA amplicon sequencing was used to quantitatively detect the intestinal flora, and the immune function of the patients was detected by Flow cytometry analysis. The digestive tract reaction was significantly reduced by Sijunzi Decoction, and the abundance of intestinal Lactobacillus and Bifidoacterium were increased, but the abundance of Enterobacteria and fusobacterium nucleatum were reduced. The proportion of CD4 + / CD8 + cells was increased as shown by Flow cytometry analysis. The species and abundance of intestinal flora were changed, and the immune function of patients with colorectal cancer were significantly improved by Sijunzi Decoction.\u0000\u0000Key words: Sijunzi Decoction; Colorectal Cancer; Intestinal Flora; Immune Function.","PeriodicalId":130394,"journal":{"name":"Global Journal of Microbiology","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121683677","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
