Based on this index system, this paper evaluates the regional logistics competitiveness on a national scale with Factor Analysis Method, the evaluation result is consistent with the actual condition in China. Finally, the logistics competitiveness of Jiangxi province is specially analyzed, and some useful advices are given for the local government to make corresponding decisions.","PeriodicalId":129936,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Management of e-Commerce and e-Government","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-10-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132980995","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper investigates the ripple effect on the agricultural industry chain which is heavily influenced by the natural disaster. Taking the pig industry chain in the disaster area —Luzhou, Sichuan Province as an illustration, the paper was committed to the dynamics of price adjustment and the causal analysis along the marketing channel on the basis of the time-series analysis and variance decomposition about the weekly price series of pork, hogs and piglets. The estimations constructed by a vector error correction (VEC) model show that price adjustment is asymmetric with respect to both speed and magnitude. The results also reveal a differential impact of the exogenous shock on farmers, processors and retailers, leading to widening of price margins and pointing to imperfect price transmission. Regarding efficiency and equity of the marketing channel our findings are critical, especially at the farm level.","PeriodicalId":129936,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Management of e-Commerce and e-Government","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-10-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114726735","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

And they are professional degree of website, service integration and the consistency of members. This paper adopts the research method of literature analysis, analyzes the relationship among the influencing factors from the qualitative point of view and analyzes their influence to the web 2.0 website’s competitive capacity, profitability, ripening degree of business model and its probability of success. It proves that the change direction of the three indexes is the same to the change direction of Internet business model based on Web 2.0. Verification of E-Commerce protocols’security level has become a hot spot in both information security and E-commerce researching area. Recent research focuses on E-commerce protocols’ general properties such as secrecy and authentication, but always ignores particular properties related to commerce such as anonymity, fairness and atomicity. This article addresses formal analysis of E-commerce protocols, especially verification of commerce-related properties. We want to enhance the security of E-commerce protocols in used, and help to develop new protocols, and then help the public to accept applications constructed based on these protocols. So we attempt to model the E-commerce protocols, to extend formal methods for general properties verification and make it applicable to commerce related properties, and to develop a toolkit to verify E-commerce protocols automatically in future research.","PeriodicalId":129936,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Management of e-Commerce and e-Government","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-10-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134139559","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper explores this issue through a case study comparing the deployment of the i-mode mobile Internet service in two countries, seeking the reasons behind its contrasting fortunes: spectacular success in Japan vs failure in Europe. The comparison between network operators NTT Docomo in Japan and KPN in the Netherlands suggests that differences in the underlying industry architectures explain why similar platform strategies led to such different outcomes. The paper contributes to the literature on industry architecture by unpacking the interaction between evolutionary processes, industry architecture, and business strategies. It also contributes to the platforms literature, by positing that firms’ ability to successfully pursue platform strategies depends on industry architecture.","PeriodicalId":129936,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Management of e-Commerce and e-Government","volume":"361 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-10-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134410195","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
