Affecting various aspects of life and causing a domino effect in many sectors including the economy. Indonesia's economy worsened in the second quarter (Q2) 2020, negative 5.32 percent and only started to recover in the second quarter of 2021, positive 7.07% thanks to investment and increased household consumption. The MSME sector plays a significant and strategic role in supporting and is predicted to be the engine of economic recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic. The positive contribution of MSMEs to GDP before the pandemic could reach almost 60%. However, now in a condition full of uncertainty, it is necessary to strengthen various ideas, innovations and collaboration of various parties so that MSMEs can get out of pressure and support economic growth. This study will look at the potential for the adoption and implementation of digital literacy skills and information literacy by involving librarians (library institutions), academics, and literacy activists supporting MSMEs in contributing to economic recovery after Covid-19. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive approach in order to present a detailed description of the setting and literacy skills for MSME actors. This research is general in nature (generalization) with the scope of its location in Indonesia, without mentioning specific areas. Primary sources of research are obtained from literature studies, studies of various media and journal articles which are assumed to be able to capture the general condition of society. The results show that the idea of adopting and implementing digital literacy skills and information literacy for MSME actors has an urgency to be implemented immediately as a solution to the challenges of possible innovation (behavior) changes in the habits and operations of the MSME sector after Covid-19. Accelerate the transformation of MSMEs through strengthening the digital literacy and information literacy sectors to support MSME business functions (production, promotion, and marketing) after Covid-19.","PeriodicalId":127934,"journal":{"name":"Fihris: Jurnal Ilmu Perpustakaan dan Informasi","volume":"150 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133890288","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A descriptive statistic usually used as the first step to tidying up the data before we continue to the next analysis. Therefore, a descriptive statistic may stand as an independent analysis that can present data and give some information about data. There are so many descriptive forms that can be made from any data. Start with the visual form like table, chart, or any data measurement like a measure of central tendency, a measure of the place value, and a measure of dispersion. Many kinds of data can be present as descriptive therefore not every description contain a piece of optimal information for a certain data. The word optimal here means that the descriptive form may give information to estimate population data or to make a decision to follow up any policy. For examples in digital library visitors, the descriptive forms that are very useful are table, chart, and measure of central tendency. While the other measurement will more suitable for other data like the usability of the collection. From this case, so it must be scrutinized what information do we hope for before we decide what kinds of descriptive form will be made.","PeriodicalId":127934,"journal":{"name":"Fihris: Jurnal Ilmu Perpustakaan dan Informasi","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132501181","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to these circumstances, conventional learning has turned into online learning to avoid potential virus-spreading in university clusters, and UPI Library and Information Science 2019 students must follow the policy. The study aims to determine the information-seeking behavior of university students in meeting their information needs and differences in information-seeking behavior before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study method uses a descriptive quantitative research method. The sample of this research is students who experience two types of learning, conventional learning (in the classroom) and long-distance learning (online class). The results of this study indicate that there are differences in information-seeking behavior of UPI Library and Information Science 2019 students before and during the Covid-19 pandemic both in terms of motivation, place, sources, strategies, and obstacles in finding information. This is shown from the percentages of respondents' answers that show a decrease in physical activity such as visiting the library and a decrease in the use of printed media in finding information during the Covid-19 pandemic. On the other hand, the use of electronic and online-based media to search for information such as e-journal catalogs is increasing, and the use of electronic information sources has also increased during the Covid-19 pandemic.","PeriodicalId":127934,"journal":{"name":"Fihris: Jurnal Ilmu Perpustakaan dan Informasi","volume":"CE-33 4","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121003906","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
