Negative emotions mean undesirable emotions that restrain play and have a negative effect on the playing and the learning outcomes. Positive emotions mean desirable emotions that improve play and have a positive effect on the playing and learning outcomes. Therefore, in order to keep the learner engaged, the emotion-based adaptation should be tailored to maximize positive emotions and reduce negative ones. In both education and video game literature, there are many studies about the positive and negative aspects of the emotional states. However, most of the studies on SGs do not take into account the classification of the learner's emotions into a positive and a negative aspect. In order to provide that, this paper contributes a generic classification of learner's emotions in educational SGs. We start by analyzing positive and negative dimension of the learner's (student's) emotions under the educational context. Then, we inspect the learner's (player's) emotional states in the video games context. Finally, we examine emotion in both contexts in order to identify positive and negative emotional states at the learner in the educational SGs context.","PeriodicalId":127735,"journal":{"name":"2020 2nd International Workshop on Human-Centric Smart Environments for Health and Well-being (IHSH)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131111089","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to get accurate representation of the real turbines, the main factors influencing the operating state of the system must be considered during the development of the model. Stochastic dependencies between components are among the important factors in determining reliability and unexpected system's failures. The main objective of our work is developing a multiagent simulator using the Netlogo platform that allows the representation of the behavior of a wind turbine and different failure scenarios considering the impact of stochastic inter-components dependencies, weather conditions and system configuration. A comparison between the reliability parameters is performed in both conditions (dependent and independent components). The results obtained show the usefulness of considering the existence of stochastic dependencies when predicting and optimizing the wind turbines reliability and availability.","PeriodicalId":127735,"journal":{"name":"2020 2nd International Workshop on Human-Centric Smart Environments for Health and Well-being (IHSH)","volume":"193 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131583071","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Particularly, both patients and healthcare professionals are given new opportunities by utilizing suitable systems and applications that are specially designed and developed to cater to their specific needs within healthcare institutions and beyond. This paper gives insight into the design and implementation of a full-Web national telemedicine portal for Algerian hospitals. The still ongoing project requires many phases, the first steps are here described and some challenges are briefly discussed as well.","PeriodicalId":127735,"journal":{"name":"2020 2nd International Workshop on Human-Centric Smart Environments for Health and Well-being (IHSH)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126245881","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
